1080 Foil and 1080 Thrusters???

I just looked on the salomon site under the freeski news, there making two new 1080 models for a mid-season release(march 2005)...anyone got any information or pictures?

Man, I wish we knew more about these....I wonder if they will be as good as the LAB models....possibly a wood core? I'm guessing the Foil will be similar to the normal 1080, and the thruster will be kinda floppy for jibbing

 
I sent an email to salomon customer service asking them for more info. When I emailed asking them about the CR Lab's this summer, they weren't particularly helpful..but we'll see what they say..

 
i saw iannick b with the foils, they are grey and black with kind of squarish designs, they looked pretty much the same shape as the 1080's

what do you know. salomon is not going to put out a different ski, only the 1080 with a new name and graphics. shame

I was talking to a guy who had a pair of some new salomons , I dont know which, but they were skinnier then pocket rockets, and fatter tehn 1080's. and he siad they were like black and grey.

the foils are a better all mountain ski kinda like the 1080's..while the thrusters are more for pure park..at least thats what the salomon site says.
