hey i was wondering if you new how the 1080 boots were like are hey a good comfortable boot in the park and also all around the mountain like in powder and on icey trails thanks

 
Well they are supposed to be better for all mountain this year since a rivet was added in the back, so hopefully they will be more all mountain oriented yet still good in the park.

 
I've got them.

I landed short on a 30 foot gap, and they actually absorbed most of the impact. It hurt slightly, but compared to my rossi 7's, they kick ass.

Not worth 650 bucks. They wont make you a better skier. They just have advantages.

 
nah last year they boots were like 650, this year salomon reduced cost to about 450, its a good deal if ur looking for new boots.

Last year's 1080 were transparent. It cost more to make boots with transparent resin. The new 1080 is made with cheaper resin... dark grey. So that's the difference. Also, the flex index is increased from the previous 85 to 90 or 95, I can't remember. The 1080's shock absorbing sole really do work! Get em!~
