The pro models are so sick, I think its a mistake tho for them to make the standard 1080 and the normal 1080 boot even more bland than usual. The pro models with the salomon candide pro will look sick

 
I kinda like the plain-ness. i think it would be cool to have a boot with like a leather wrap all over it, maybe with a pimpin louis-vuitton pattern. maybe....

look around i bought last years 1080 boots for 175 cdn. pretty good deal. for anyone who lives in calgary, winderemeres skate shop syndicate, is having a killer sale all year and the deals are fucken rad.

yea but they somehow made the plain ugly they should make an all black boot thats transparent sort of... or they should make another green boot but make a re design of the boot

yeah all of salomon's stuff is generally ugly this year, like the pocket rockets have the whole bird thing, then liquid crysatal type writing on the tail, and then grungy writing on the tip, it just doesnt all mesh well at all. i guess you can expect this when you lose your product manager though

Definitely a tone down. 1080 boot is the best overall value in my opinion. Only good product salomon makes...

yea i agree the 1080 is pretty much the only good product they make... well not this years but the previous years they were considered one of the best.
