1080 boots

I'm looking at the new teneighty boots and was wondering what the real flex index on them was. everywhere on line it says 75 but at the shop it said 85. anyone know.

I thought the skis made you good. I got the skis and it turned out I was wrong. It must be the clothes.

i believe the 1080 boot is a 75, the promodel is at 90.

The Origional 1080 (2 years ago) was a 85 flex

Both last year and this year they made two 1080 boots, a Pro model with a 90 flex and a regular 1080 with a 75 flex

well i just bought them and they have a flex of 85 this year. says it right on the back of them. the promodel has a flex of 95. so now definitely a sick boot

Probably just the backwards and forwards movement determined on some scale or something.

1080 boots look sweeet. I'm getting a pair :)

the flex index is the stiffness of the boot, front and back. try on a pair of low end salomons, and you'll hit right around 45-65 depending on the model. more flex. now, try on a pair of Nordica Dobermans. their flex index is up to around 180-190ish if i remember (correct me if i'm wrong.). they are soo flippin stiff it's crazy. but, they are comfy.

hopefully pick up my pair today, tried em on last week and they were super comfy.

they were green at my shop, but on the salomon site they really look yellow. thanks, green is def'n better

 
does a higher flex rating mean more shin bruises while landing? cuz i prefer a higher flex but i'm wondering if the X-Wave 10 would be suitable for jibbing and does anyone know the approximate price of the Salomon Pro-model in Cdn $?
