the promodel is a lot stiffer, so its not as forgiving, but if you wanna do stuff besides jibbing then its better i think

 
from what i know about it it is the same shell as the salomon course boot (i.e. world cup racing) with a small difference in the flex rating (i.e. softer) the liner is also completely different than the 1080. go to salomonsports.com and compare them yourself. the difference in canadian dollars can be up to $200 depending on where you go but in my opinion the added features are worth it.

I'm selling my nearly brand new (used 6 times) '03 1080 ProModel boots, size 27.5... $335US with Booster Strap already attached, or $325 without.

 
where can you buy the pro model? i haven't seen it anywhere. i have the non pro one though and i like it a lot

pro models are a different color, better liner, stiffer flex, and narrower fit

dude the pro model is stiff you better have small calfs and you better actualy be good the boot has many more features it is worth the money i would try it on to make sure it is the boot for you
