1080 all-mtn performance

just bought some 2003 1080 silvers(end of season sale.) being an expert skiier, i love skiing really really fast. i know of their park superiority, but i was wondering if the 1080s can really hold up in the steeps. Theyre mounting the bindings now, so im gonna pick them up on my way to sunday river this friday. Give me some feedback soon..please!!

 
if you like to go really fast, you won't want the 1080's to be your only skis.

I have them and they are pretty good on steeps. But, you might want a different pair.

 
yeah...except if you like moguls, 1080 are better..

If you like to ski fast get the g4 or the T@nker for the steeps....1080 is a great tree ski...it does do JUST FINE going fast, but not as good as the two I mentioned above for example.

 
never liking the 1080's i tried this years model and was actually a little surprised, they were considerably stiffer than last years model, i didnt ski them park, but all mountain they seemed to be fine, except for the occasional tail

the 1080s are tanks i beet the crap out of them and they just chipped a little but not much the top sheet has like woven in it!
