1000 horsepower....

i think it would need more power having an engine so giagantic. and the block is probably iron because of the stress being put on it
 
the cadillac sixteen is old news.

but anyway.. shit, with that much money into a 2JZ supra i could make 1500hp. in a 6 cylinder...why the fuck would someone want the extra weight of a V16? that's just stupidity.
 
actually its the caterham superlight R500 Evolution you are thinking of. 20k would be the price if you constructed the car yourself from the kit.
 
exactly what i was sayin, then youll be rollin with the bigboys. or you can invest that money into a cobra and easily make a 1000.

the cadillac is nice, whit 1000hp and all the luxury.. but the maclaren F1 is the shit. topspeed of 386 km/h (around 240 mph?)
 
I read an article about it like a year ago so this is from memory but apparently when you are just cruising around 8 of the cylinders are shut off but turn on when you put the hammer down. So when 8 are shut off you have an 8 cylinder car so basically you get the gas mileage of a mustang. (which isn't great but if you have the money to buy that car, gas is the least of your concerns.)
 
hahahaha^ nice wow going through tires and gas would be a bitch id rather get a car not so powerful so you could save money on gas+tires and you could always put as much money in that and still get alot of hp
 
yeah v16 is way over done, formula 1 cars that are like the fastest in the world are only v8 and i dont even think they do 10s anymore, u dont need all that to make a car go fast
