if real science found one possible "loophole" in a solid piece of logic and then concluded that the rest of the infinite pieces of fact were incorrect based on that, it would be retarded just like this guy
 
actually that does happen in science. The natural sciences are not based on logic (like formal ones can be). One little fact could completely destroy a theory. Not saying that this guy disproved anything though.
 
Is it necessary to say that a thoery hasn't been proven? maybe YOU should educate yourself on what a theory actually is. If they had been proven we wouldn't call them theories; A set of statements or principles devised to explain a group of facts or

phenomena, especially one that has been repeatedly tested or is widely

accepted and can be used to make predictions about natural phenomena.

However, in MY opinion even though both are theories, I choose to support evolution because it is SUPPORTED by plenty more research than the thoery of "mumbojumbo" created by fucking morons.

Stop calling God He? well based on the Bible if you read it there is this big concept called the Trinity...Making up the Trinity there is the Father Son and Holy Spirit, and based on the concept of the Father, father's are male so that is where I get He and Him from....the Bible refers to the Father as Him so that is where I get it from
 
If it is such a fact then how come we haven't seen evolution take place in our lives, why aren't species still evolving today? A dog is a dog today as it will be tomorrow just as we are human yesterday today and tomorrow...we haven't seen any form of life start to evolve into a new species, and if we have then enlighten me...now i know the response I will probably receive which is "we havent been around long enough to witness the full effects of evolution" well in that case then how can you refer to evolution as fact then...it is a Theory not a fact
 
For evolution to be disproved, one would only need to find a single "out of place" fossil. So ID people, your task is very easy. In the meantime, we will dutifully be on the side of reason and moving foward just fine without you.

Anywho, soot during the industrial revolution covered many surfaces black, therefor giving the black moths a better chance of survival from predators because they were camoflauged.

Evolution can be witnessed over hours in viruses.... How do you think resistant strains of viruses emerge to treatments? Or go airborne? They mutate, and evolve to survive. Without evolution no life would exist, there would have been a complete extinction of all life on earth millions of years. There is no magic to it, tiny mutations, even at a cellular level provide either a negative or positive adaptation. You can see it all around us, everyday. Religous folk who deny evolution can't see the wood for the trees!

With you're first statement you demonstrate that you've yet to take highschool Biology, and that you fail to understand the concept of Macroevolution. For us as human beings to notice any evolutionary changes in our lifetime, our lifetime would have to be millions of years long. Shit doesn't just evolve instantly because the need is there. It takes generation after generation after generation of a species shedding it's weaker and less fit specimen, allowing those with the favorable traits(those that allow them to outlive the weak) to pass those traits on untill they are present in all individuals of said species. Over time(lots of time) these new traits add up and EVENTUALLY created a very different organism.

And that's macroevolution in a nutshell.

Secondly, and most damningly. You show that you have no clue what the word, "theory," means.

A scientific theory is something that as been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt, with a massive amount of indisputable evidence that the majority of scientific minds agree is in fact indisputable, The THEORY of gravity comes to mind.

You seem to believe that a theory and a HYPOTHESIS are the same thing, and in that assumption you are very incorrect.

3. He asked for an example of speciation. The peppered moth is great example of directional selection, but not speciation. Furthermore it wasn't a mutation that made some moths black.

(We do however have examples of observed speciation.)

Before anyone tries to argue anything about evolution they should read the works of Gregor Mendel and read "The Structure of Evolutionary Theory" by Steven Jay Gould.

The fact that anyone is arguing about the primitive view of creationism is astonishing to me. NOTHING CAN SIMPLY BE CREATED OUT OF NOTHING.

My teacher explained evolution well to me. If someone doesn't believe in evolution let them use medicine that was used 40 years ago.
Since nothing evolves the medicine should still work and keep them "alive."
I really think people who don't believe in evolution should do this.
Darwin will be very happy.

well think about it...speciation requires many cycles of reproduction-maturation-reproduction to occur. even if a certain phenotype is naturally selected by the environment and the animal thrives, it will be many generations until that beneficial trait combines with other beneficial traits to produce an entirely new species. a lot of the beneficial mutations are pretty minor too. if you want an easily understandable example of evolution, consider the flu virus. Each year a new vaccine is distributed; if the virus didn't mutate to be immune to the previous year's vaccine every year, we wouldn't need to get vaccinated annually. or why we have "super bugs".or the overproduction of antibacterial solutions. Since they have become popular, a lot of bacteria have become immune to them. I know these aren't desirable examples of evolution, but it happens every day. whenever the 0.1% of bacteria survives the lysol spray, natural selection occurs.
how do you think dogs came to be, anyway? people saw that an animal for guarding or hunting could be beneficial to them, took in the wild foxes and wolves that were most friendly to them, and bred the ones that were the most friendly and obedient, with softer fur, etc.
 
The issue is not that these people can not comprehend the concept of evolution. The issue is that, because of their ridiculous beliefs, they come up with ways for evolution to still exist (because it is an observed phenomenon, which one can not argue against), yet for their silly fairy-tale beliefs to also be true. So they say evolution is real, but speciation is not. However, obviously speciation is an inevitable result of evolution, and there has even been observed speciation, they just choose to ignore this fact.
