100 Reason Why Climate Change is Natural

move where? our population is already growing absurdly quickly, the last thing we need is to be reducing their living space on top of it

the johnstonarchive source in my comment also touches on this and i'll qoute it for you.
Today the Earth has 148 million sq. km of land area, of which 16 million sq. km is covered by glaciers. A sea level rise of 66 meters would flood about 13 million sq. km of land outside Antarctica. Without polar ice, Antarctica and Greenland would be ice free, although about half of Antarctica would be under water. Thus, ice-free land would be 128 million sq. km compared to 132 million sq. km today.

Who said anything about moving?

Just kill the Chinese and Indians. Get our jobs back, cut back on the pollution those groups make, AND cut down the population.

well portions of india would be underwater so that would help. and china. japan would be bye bye. along with new york, la, dc. so i suppose it is good population control

atomic bomb reference will most likely DROP in a few posts. pardon the unimaginative and lazy pun, I was vanquished today by a little bitch final essay, didnt get shit done all day. fuck you ns.

hahahha you are soooo lucky to be done with that, I have that final on friday. It's going to be easy, but this stupid little essay is giving me way too much trouble. I can't concentrate. maybe i need some addorle.

Just to throw this out there, India is one of the leaders in curbing population and is doing so very effectively. They are also a powerhouse for environmental adcancements. China is getting there for population (even if it's forced) and believe it or not, a lot progressive renewable energy companies are coming out of China. Japan actually has a constrictive population, meaning their population is actually shrinking because they have more old people than people of reproductive age. Also, the US has a very stable population size.

and Delphi, it pains me to say this, but I agree with your response to mine...

I bet 9/11 was the US governments fault too rightWorld is probably going to end in 2012 Evolution is a lie.I think the world is flat toooh and humans are not causing global warming
haha, this whole climategate email thing is such a joke.

haha I appreciate the support man, anyways, I am pretty sure this kid posted that exact same shit in another thread.

I ATTACK!

The only reason people pay attention to this guy is his accent. This guy expects me to believe that Obama is signing an environmental treaty that just also happens to establish New World Order. This guy is more full of shit than Glenn Beck.

From the Guardian.uk :

Most Americans don't believe humans responsible for climate change, study finds

In contrast, scientists overwhelmingly believe global warming is caused by human activity

Barack Obama's sense of urgency in getting Congress and the international community to act on climate change does not appear to have rubbed off on the average American, a new study published today reveals.

Even

as the president pressed the G8 and the world's major polluters to

resist cynicism and the pressure of the economic recession to act

against global warming, a majority of Americans remain unconvinced that

humans are responsible for climate change, or that there is an urgent

need to act.

About 49% of Americans believe the Earth is getting

warmer because of the burning of fossil fuels and other human activity,

the survey by the Pew Research Centre and the American Association for

the Advancement of Science said. Some 36% attributed global warming to

natural changes in the atmosphere and another 10% said there was no

clear evidence that the earth was indeed undergoing climate change.

Scientists

in contrast are overwhelmingly persuaded that global warming is caused

by humans - some 84% blame human activity. A strong majority - some 70%

- also believe it is a very serious problem. Despite that degree of

consensus, some 35% of Americans continues to believe - wrongly it

turns out - that climate change remains a matter of scientific

controversy. Only about 47% of the public views climate change as a

very serious problem, a finding that has remained stable over the

years, this survey said. In other public opinion polls over the years,

climate change has ranked near the bottom of the list of pressing

problems.

The Pew poll, like others in the past, also found

attitudes towards climate change breaking down according to political

allegiance. Some 67% of Republicans either deny the existence of

climate change or attribute the phenomenon to natural causes. In

contrast, 64% of Democrats believe that the earth is getting warmer

because of human activity. "

And many poeple were asking why the world hated America... So there you go, caus' a large portion of you are just ignorant, selfish and stubborn.

Beeing able to say stuff like "humans have nothing to do with climat change" just completly blew my mind... You people are just brainwashed and you really and I mean REALLY need to open your eyes and stop being egoist.

Can't believe this is a skiing site... Un-fucking-believable.

I hope the way that is written doesn't reflect the way the questions were actually asked in the poll.

The first 49% they think the earth is getting warmer due fossil fuels

Then GW because of natural changes

Then the last 10 percent they refer to it as climate change.

Just seems like they were using different terms asking the same thing for this survey which could lead to misguided results. They should stick with one term.

jay ingram was actually interviewing someone who said al gore isn't helping the cause, and that the situation is real, just not as extreme.
but anyways. this is probably about as far as i'll go in this conversation.

Al Gore is what causes most people on the fence to laugh at the idea. The man is the definition of a hypocrisy.

most of those reasons you list are correct, but very biased and incomplete, mainly because, completing them would mean that they no longer support your claim. For example, the ice caps have always been melting, but they've been melting relatively slowly. Now, entire Ice shelves are falling into the ocean regularly, and this summer, we most likely wont have a northern polar ice cap. Since when was it normal to not be able to stand at the north pole?

That was a painful read. I'm sorry but that didn't even make me think... Take any entry level climatology/oceanography/geography course and you'd know how stupid every one of those points sounds. Sorry bro, I know you're just posting something interesting but for the sake of the internet it wouldn't hurt to question its validity.
If you want to hear any actual scientific explanation behind it I posted some in a thread last week if you want to call me out on "baseless" comments.
It is pretty fun to see how much ignorance there is on here for both sides. People, please don't make an opinion until you know some logic and science behind it. The thought of helping out our planet and future generations should be enough motivation for people who don't understand the concepts behind climate change. Burning one million years worth of photosynthetic carbon build up per year should be obvious enough to be worth doing something about...

dude you shouldn't have posted that in the greatest scientific forum, filled with the most brilliant teen minds this world has ever known. you're going to get torn apart.

Sorry for promoting intelligence skiierman.

Hey everbody! It's time to stop debating and get back to posting about Tom Wallish, afterbang, full tilts, peeing in girl's butts and the faunt getting bigger.

One sec, let me go bump you're old thread.
