$100 credit at the Apple online store

I've got a $100 credit at the Apple online store for any order over $300. It's only good through Oct. and I'm pretty set as far as gear and accessories go, so what I'm proposing is a straight trade, you paypal me $100, and I'll give you the code.

Or I could order the stuff on my Apple ID if you'd rather do that.

 
It was given to me as compensation for a poorly handled warranty situation with regard to my MacBook hard drive.

But this is why I am, and will remain an Apple customer, they take care of you.

I'd buy it from you if there was some kind of incentive. Maybe if you were selling it for $50. Or I could trade you $100 in Canyon Lakes Golf Course pro shop credit.

I just don't need anything from the apple store at the moment, and thought someone else might want to use this, I can always use it myself and either keep or sell whatever I buy.

But I could use the $100 for other things, with concern to me offering to give you $50 for your "service" of taking the credit off my hands, forget it. The value is $100, and that's all I'm asking for.
 
Sorry to bash but if someone was to spend $100 of their money on your credit, is their money not doing exactly the same as your $100 credit. Why would they waste their time? Maybe sell it for a slight discount so that there is some warrant to buy it.
 
It's just to see if anyone wants specific credit at the Apple store, if not, that's fine, I can use it myself.
 
so you want me to give you $100 of real money and exchange for $100 code only usable on apple.com? Thats sorta a loss on my side.
 
if we were already gonna spend money, why not just spend regular money and stop wasting time with doing this deal and entering a code? the only reason why someone would do this deal was if there was a discount
 
Orrrrrr..... if someone was nice enough to help him out, but I'm pretty sure not many ppl would and that sucks cuz he is a fairly legit person on this site, but I understand where everyone is coming from.
 
the trick is to sell it for less then the regular price, otherwise the person buying it from you is helping you out only and not the other way around, they need some incentive
 
i dont see the point in buying this thing at all. why would you buy credit for the store when you can just buy straight from the store? there is honestly no reason to buy this unless it costs less than 100
 
you people..... the point is were an ns community he is hoping somebody is about to drop cash on apples site and would be able to help a brotha out. that way he gets his hundred bucks to spend on whatevs and you get your apple shit..... No you dont make any money or get anything out of it, just helping a fellow nser

This is what I was hoping, if you're not planning on spending money at the apple store, or don't want to help me out, that's fine, I expected some flaming, but I also know there are some good people here on NS (see above) who'd be willing to help out a fellow skier and legit member. If that's you, then awesome, PM me...if not you don't have to trash my thread asking for some help.
 
hahaha yeah sell for a discount, there would be no point buying it if your going to spend a hundred anyway, and this way it forces you to spend over 300
 
if you are just going to use it urself do that. i hate cheap people... you want other people to do you a favor for nothing? thats not how life works.

You keep talking about community and doing people favors while at the same time being a mega hypocrite. Why don't you hook someone up besides yourself? community is a two way street and i know your a mega member and all but you would have had this sold if you would give a little.
 
I do, I offered to save you $5...and I'll still have less than that because of PayPal fees.

I've hooked up a lot of members here, I've bent FKS and P-series brakes for people just cause they were having a hard time with it, so they mailed 'em to me and I did it for them. I've been around here since 2003 man, I've done a lot of stuff for people...I'm just wondering if anyone was already gonna spend money at the Apple store and wants to help me out, and save $5.

Maybe $10, make me an offer I can't refuse.

You want someone to go out of their way in order to put cash in ur pocket. You want this person to waste their time going through paypal and risking being ripped off in order to hook you up with cash. Since this person is nice enough to do a favor for u (random stranger) wouldnt it make sense to give something back to them and offer them SOMETHIGN in return for their risk and wasted time. $5? wow man ur hooking it up!!!

Christ you are an ass-fuck. Did you even want the apple credit? If so don't be a dick and just click your back button out of the thread and continue your day. Why does it have to be a big deal? (no matter what you say, YOU ARE MAKING IT A BIG DEAL) If you didn't want it, then WHY ARE YOU IN THE THREAD?
 
i know that if i needed something from apple worth 100 dollars or more i would probably take him up on the deal. stop complaining that he's not giving much of a bonus if any. all he's saying is that he's got this apple credit for 100 that he needs not, and if somebody were to already be planning on buying $100+ from apple then they could take the burden of his hands. not too much to ask for, just a way to be a bro to somebody. it's worth the small inconvenience to get this off his hands.
 
i dont think anybody gets the point of this thread, all it is doing is saving a 100 $ from being wasted, if you already planed on spending money there than this is legit, if not, why all the hate, if he made the thread than he would be willing to do the same for you, if not that would make him a hypocrite but otherwise sounds like an ok guy

i saved 10 dollars, why would i pass that up, i also ended up saving more because the credit took a lot off tax so i saved like 20 dollars
