10 Years!

A little personal milestone today. I have been an official member of Newschoolers for 10 Years today! Although I did float around the side for a year or two before getting a login.

Either way. I might not be the most active member but this site has been a savior through high school and college and even in the big boy world. Even though I no longer get the chance to ski, I enjoy coming in here to see whats up.

2005 was a good year. Those orange AR5s and I believe I was rocking my 1080s. Charles Gagnier won slopestyle gold at X, and Simon Dumont took it to T-Hall in the pipe. And I think my most missed feature of Newschoolers ,the chat box on the main page, was full of us morons doing what we do.

Thanks for a decade everyone! Love you weird folks here in Newschoolers.

Oh it's not that bad. I personally am happy to see how much it has expanded and grew. Constant edits being put out, great event coverage from every corner of the world, and in general a huge + for skiing.

I am sure everyone who was skiing park in the early 2000's remembers a time being the only skier in the park. By no means do I think we (if you were a member in 2001) can honestly say it sucks now. That would just be old guy mentality gibberish. If anything I am super pumped to see 14 and 15 year olds joining here.
