'10 Suspects

so ive seen a lot of old posts about the suspects and i know its probably to soon to be asking this, but does anyone know if salomon has fixed all of the edge problems from last year and all the breaking that was going on? and would marker griffons be good for a 5'8 145 lbs kid?

Marker griffons would be fine for ya,

As for the "fixing of the suspect" no-body can really confirm this yet i believe, but just from what i've read from other threads.

-They have another manufacturer making the skis instead of the poor quality'd one they had last year

-Still made the same as last year, just different topsheet

So it can possibly be built better for this season.

my friend who is a salomon sponsor said that they changed the core due to durability issues

agreed, and unless you like your skis stiff, the suspect is definatly not the ski for you. its pretty damn stiff when i hand flexed it at my shop today. its just as stiff, if not more than the extremes

thats underfoot because of the edge armour. i would flex the tips and tails and they would probably be a lot softer there.

i spoke with a guy from salomon and he told me they were unchanged, but for the topsheet.

They are Not as stiff as last year, i can PROMISE you. Much more flexy, my friend was riding them last year( he sponsored) and they less stiff, but for the durability, ihope they fixed it
