A big thanks is in order to everyone who chats it up on Newschoolers. Leave it to screen names like EaStCoaSt11, Thatoneguyattyrol, Stinkypoodangle, and Forillasteeze to give other screen names like Mudflap and Slaughter good ideas for Boreal’s supersnow gym.

Friday, March 23 is Newschoolers Appreciation Day. If you’re a member of Newschoolers, RSVP by PMing Slaughter by 11:59 pm Wednesday, March 21, and you’ll receive an emailed voucher that entitles you to a $10 lift ticket on March 23. Be sure to provide your FIRST NAME, LAST NAME, EMAIL ADDRESS, AND SCREEN NAME. Bring your printed-out voucher, along with ten bucks to the Boreal Special Ticket window on March 23 to redeem. Limit of one voucher per person. Valid for one full-day lift ticket for March 23 only.

 
well I know an Alpine pass wont work. It doesn't get you any kind of discount and they are both owned by the same company. So I assume no other passes work either
 
they had a deal last season where after like the 17th of march if you had a season pass to any other resort in tahoe, the boreal ticket would only be $5
 
i like that idea. Everyone come out with the cams, and lets get some footie. I know Hames would love to put together an edit for this. Like the idea about making it a West Coast meet-up, too. Help me get the word out to everybody. Even try to get your friends to sign up for NS, so they can get the deal.

Also, on Sunday 3/25, we are having a photo scavenger hunt. Tell anyone with a camera, should be fun. I will have more details in the upcoming days.
 
OK, so I want to do a mini-jam session for you guys/gals during the day on 3/23. Any suggestions? This will be a NS member only jam session. It will have to be something small but fun.

Also, there is the Final Expression Session, that evening. Superpipe event.
 
well for a mini jam, a regular long flar box is always fun, but a flat rail is better. I personally think a street style down rail would be the funest.
 
a friend (Thewallaby) rented a place to stay for the week. i know bret, jex, skimack, dalenz1010, .... and some others are planning on going.

you should move the date of the NS member day. :)
 
I might go, I'm still deciding with all of the other people I plan on going up with. They aren't NS members though...
 
definitely get your friends to sign up on NS, it only takes what, 10 seconds? plus Boreal is the shit right now. The BMX style rhythm section is so much fun....unless you try it switch your first time...
 
allright I've been thinkin about this for a while now and, I don't know if you could do it but... the sickest rail ever would like a reverse battleship rail se-up. down to flat to up, but linked together with the start under each of the ends, but really mellow... it would be sick.

also, like four flat rails right after each other with like a five inch drop to the next one... that would be so fun. I think mammoth did it a while back, but I never got to hit one like it.
