10 Guys. Three Days. Whistler. Help Make it Happen

So basically, I'm a senior in high school, and me and 9 of my closest friends are planning our senior trip to whistler for our spring break (we're from seattle).

the plan was to drive up on the 27th of march, ski three days, party three nights, no parents, just 10 seniors having fun before we don't see each other again in the winter for four years. We've got a reasonable budget, everything is working out except the lodging. We found a place that holds 10 people, but they require you to be 21 years of age or older with a valid credit card to rent it, as do all the other lodging options we've found.

My question to you is, does anyone on here have a condo or a house or anything that they would be willing to let us stay at for the 27th through the 30th of march? we'll clean, do whatever, buy you as much beer as you can drink, etc..

we just need a place to stay. We can pay in $1500 US cash.

I'm kind of begging here, help a man's dream come true. be the magic

1500 dollars for 3 days of having way to many people in your condo almost sounds worth it.

seconded

we're kind of desperate for lodging, and we really don't want to have to car camp or stay in a hostel if possible.

if anybody even knows what kind of options there are for us that would be really cool.

how strict places are about minimum age, occupancy etc because we don't care how incredibly small and basic the place we stay at is as long as we have some degree of freedom and comfort.

thanks guys.

Wow, if I had a place in Whistler and was in a situation to say yes, I would for sure. I wish I could have taken such an epic trip. Someone should take these kids up on this, and make their life. haha.

I did this with some friends, and luckily one friend's parents owned a place in the village. If you can find anyone who fully owns a place (as opposed to owning just a timeshare), I don't think age will be much of an issue.
You can always rent a cabin at this place. I've only stayed here in the Summer. The cabins are nice, but small. http://www.whistlercamping.com/home.html

If you can't find a place to stay, here are the two options I can think of:
If you can get a few vans, the parking lot right by the village is a good place to camp out.
Whistler hostels are great. There's a new one by Whistler Creekside that's really nice.

What your offering/asking is basically $50 a night per person.
Find one of the cooler parents in the group to anti up and put the deposit down on a room for all of you. Best bet is a condo that sleeps six and bring up a few extra air mattresses.
The biggest thing your going to run into with what your asking is most people with living accoms in Whistler do not have the space to house 10 extra people, and... with no damage deposit ect it becomes a liability on both there personal possessions and the rental property

Try regionals. Lots of the whis/van guys like myself check that much more often than the regular forums.

call this number 604-698-5579, his names max he has a house on drifter way which is alpine meadows and it has loft with 2 beds, 2 other bedrooms with beds 2 couches and a queen size bed, would probably be enough for 10, pretty ghetto but he'd probably do it.

I can definitely run this by my roommates. we live in creekside and are about a 100m walk to the gondola. send me a pm if you wanta talk more.

K I'm thinking if you guys give me a damage deposit (which I will return if I don't incur any extra charges on my card for hotel damage) I will not only rent it for you but show you around kinda be like a tour guide in return and since I'm always down for meeting people and partying I get to stay at said hotel (on the floor or w/e) and you guys buy my booze for the 3 days.

Hmmm. 10x 17-18 year old dudes coming to Whis to party and ski during the Olympic year. Sorry, but there is zero chance you are going to get anyone to rent to you, especially for $500/night (try $1k/night minimum for a big place), unless you put down a huge deposit. It's obvious you are going to be going wild, so it's a huge risk to the property owners. Unless you can hook up with someone personally from here, best bet is to rent 2 or 3 hotel rooms and just try to be low key about it. Do not go nuts in the hotel or you'll get booted first night.

No prob dude just tossin it out there, you got lots of time to figure out your situation. Try some other hotels tho because Im pretty sure there are some that will let you rent at 19.

I hope your spring break is during Telus festival though, because its in my opinion the best time to be there (you may have a heart attack from all the free monster you drink and excessive apres ski fun).

you said, "just 10 seniors having fun before we don't see each other again in the winter for four years."

just curious, why would you guys not see each other in the winter again for 4 years? you guys don't have a 1 month winter break where you'd all go home?

I Would let you stay at my place but its waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay

to small
