How did you manage 10 feet with 1 8 foot 2x4?

Looks like fun!!!! ( only problem **in my opinion** is drilling through the top seeing as it reduces the overall strength of the rail, something you might experience later)

Hella props for wingin it though

Yeah it was the only was we really knew how to do it, I guess drilling from the bottom or using that liquid nail shit would have worked.. oh well

i made my newest rail for 6 dollars, we got all scrap wood from dumpsters at construction sites, and then bought pvc...it looks really sketchy, but it seems to work okay

i don't think the holes will matter. We did the same thing on our setup and we have been hitting it all summer with out any of the holes cracking or breaking. We did use several 1" pvc pipes instead of 2" or whatever you used. I donno if that will make a difference though

luckily for me i built one for free 8 feet long 1.5 ft tall for free my dads work has tons of wood i can get for free or ridiclulously cheap prices. also i got a tranny made out of fiberglass cause its a fiberglass tank factory

flip the rail over and draw two lines on the wood below the rail marking where the pipes are touching the wood and just screw through the bottom. 2 inch pipes work very well for a shotgun style rail.

What i did and it works realy well is use bolts and nuts on the 4 ends then 1 or 2 screws in the middle comming up from the bottom this way the rail is definatly secure cause just screws from the bottom didnt work for me

i made a low 10ft box for about 25$. I bougth one 16ft x8in plank and 3 10ft pvc pipes. Cut wood down to 10ft and use the rest for suports.
