10 Dieses Humanity Could do Without

Bahahaha usually I like you, but this is retarded.

Maybe I'm biased, since I also have a currently incurable disease, and if not for modern technology, I'd have been dead a long time ago, but just because you get fucked over as a kid doesn't mean you should die for the "greater good" of the population. Natural selection is gone. It has been for quite some time. We have ways to counteract it, and I, for one, am very glad, because being alive and healthy is a shitload better than being dead.

Another ignorant piece of writing. It pains me what some people will write without any knowledge on the matter.

E. Coli is one of the most useful bacterium I can think of. None of us would be alive (or at least shitting well) without it.

First of all it's part of the normal flora in our gut and, being the most important of our facultative anaerobes helping immensely with out digestion.

Secondly, E. Coli is a very important model organism. Probably the most commonly used prokaryotic model organism.

Thirdly, it was actually the principal organism involved in the first biotechnology studies. (biotechnology was based off E. Coli).

Since then has been used in:

-production of insulin

-industrial fermentation

-developing vaccines

-enzyme productio

-etc etc etc

E. Coli is even used to treat certain bowel diseases.

Point being, person who wrote that does not know what they are talking about at all and should probably learn something before spilling out some bullshit for people to soak up. There are a million other bacteria that are much less useful to our existence than E. Coli.

No, you're being retarded. I also am sick with a noncurable disease. It pisses me off that people think they're special and deserve the right to live more than anyone else. You're just a number so get over it. People do need to die for the greater good. Just like war. Lives need to be sacrificed for everyone else. If no one died this world would be so over populated it's not even funny. If you like your space, ask yourself who's retarded.

i agree, at some point we just have to let nature do it's thing, however if we can completely cure diseases, why not? we're making our population stronger.. however if we just find ways to deal with it, we're digging our own grave in some way ...

i know how rude this may seem ...

What the hell are you talking about? Natural selection is still happening and always will be happening. That is the most ridiculous statement I've seen in this thread. (sorry James, he might be stupider than you)

hahaha that list is retarded. imagine one single year without any of those diseases. the world would overpopulate so fucking fast. not to be 'that guy' but a world without diseases would be a horrible horrible place to live in.

We have found ways to avoid natural selection. If you think that humans live and die purely by natural selection, I don't know what to tell you. Like I said in my earlier post, if not for modern technology, I'd have been dead a long time ago. Natural selection should have removed me from the population, but I'm still alive and kicking, so what does that tell you about humans vs natural selection? Same with the many other thousands of people who have previously fatal diseases. Get your head out of your ass. We don't live in a primitive world.

Okay, I understand now. You're just confused about what natural selection is. That's good because it has a wikipedia page that goes into more than necessary detail about what it is. If you're interested in sounding intelligent next time there is conversation about natural selection, I'd suggest you read it.
