10/11 Lacrosse Gear

(insert people flaunting their knowledge on shit that about 97% of the people on this site don't use or don't give 2 fucks about here)

top siders, midcalves, nice shorts, pennie, croakies with a sweet pair of shades is all i need on game day

im gonna be using gloves, elbow pads, shoulder pads, Pro 7 and a stick.

i dont really give a fuck about what type of gear it is. if it works, its good enough. especially for elbow and shoulder pads. if they are comfortable and make it so shit doesnt hurt as much, its good enough

I used to play lax, loved getting new shit.

Getting my last stick was more exciting then getting my skis.

oh yaah,
live-free-or-die.jpg

with the cpxr

Brine King 3
STX Assult arm pads
Cascade CPX (From last year)
Brine VIP chest pad
Brine Clutch, with a Swizzbeat.
Brine Answer, with some Warrior Dpole

i dont understand why you guys need pads. Have you ever watched AFL??
=related
No padding except for a mouth gard

because theres a vulcanized rubber ball, that has killed some people. not to mention you're trying to compare two completely different sports with different styles of contact.

hey guys....i'm looking for a decent mid/attack head for backup....if anyone has anything hit me up....i've also got some ski pants and some other stuff to trade

I use sperrys for cleats, brahskis. Too chill for cleats, dude. I scored this totally wicked flywheel smirnoff ice warrior stick, brahs. Its totally rad.

Any other goalies here? Black Eclipse on Black Kpro. Murdered out. Then I have an Eraser CP and Brine Thrillers from last year

i wear some small and scrapy shoulder pads that hardly protect anything, cell defense arm pads, maveric dynastys, two pro 7s, and some dope nike cleats. defenders cant wear pads...

maybe because when a 6'4 gorilla swings a 6 foot long metal pole at ur arm/chest/legs some protection is nice.

hahaha no. but at least hitting a baseball actually takes some skill. how many goals were scored at your last game? 30?

half of baseball is swinging a bat in the correct place and hoping for the best. you ever seen someone like paul rabil shoot? he can shoot 111mph and nail inch big targets with his right or left hand, WHILE being hacked at by a metal pole or two

i dont see why it's so unbelievable that i played high school lacrosse.. haha. it's just easy

and dubsman that's all well and good but that's a tiny fraction of lax players. for anything up to and including high school, the necessary skill sets are:

attack: be able to hold a ball in a huge pocket, be able to score from 5-15 feet away with a hard rubber ball on a dude wearing the same amount (probably less, actually) gear than you are

middie: needs to be able to run and.. oh wait that's it

defense: need to be big, and hopeless enough at other sports that you can show up every day to swing a 6 foot pole around as people run by and score 10-20 goals every game

fuck you're right, i totally forgot an important part. the attackers also need to have the patience to sit next to the opponent's goal until they catch a pass on the crease. you know, so they can toss in a bounce shot from a foot away, or throw it around the circle ten times before running an iso

haha so much ignorance it redic.

its like saying a double cork is 100% commitment with out any skill

naw i wouldnt say that, cause skiing actually involves skill and wasn't created through a vast conspiracy aimed at giving talentless high schoolers an angle
