I only own Line skis (Abangs, Mastermind, Invader, and Old Blends),.Lookin to shred some pow and other things besides park. Went to CO for a week and realized that I had more fun in the pow in 4 days than in the park for a year.... so i neeeeeddd all-mountain skis that can do good in park that doesnt cost 2 much.

This yr is comin to an end so I have some time to research and ask b4 I buy another pair.

Rossi S3's. Do it. I've been skiing them in the park all year but my hill FINALLY got dumped on and the handled 2 feet of fresh pow great.

Ask surface directly about this time to get some Surface one life's for like $400. I love them sooooo much. I cant even sink the tips in 2 feet of ak pow pow and they slay at rails like no other

The new Line Blend's. 100 underfoot, stiffer flex, slight rocker tip and tail. From what I've heard, it slays everything.

Just curious...how do you like your s3's in the park, and what length? I ski the s7's for all mountain/pow and they are really, really nice. Considering getting s3's next year for park/all mtn.

One of my friends rides S3's and I've ridden them in the park and on a relatively deep day and they perform amazing under both conditions. They're a little fat and rockered, perfect park skis.

2012's!!!!They are not a giant change from a park ski, yet rock house in the powder dept. They are Rockered from tip to tail, and can spin like a mo-fo.

Look into the 09/10 Surface Watch Lifes. They are a bomber all mtn ski that can do it all. 132/11/125 I think...they are around the same dimension of the Line Blend but lighter and more poppy IMO. PM me if you have any more questions.

Thx to all replies, im lookin at Blends, S3's, rocker if price is a lil lower or if i get the $.. Im really lookin for a ski thats around 165-168 if i didnt say that b4.

Atomic Patents. 95 under foot but soft enough and have enough sidecut to hold their own in the park and wide enough to ski powder, especially in the east.

hahahahahahahahahaha bro he is 120lbs!! he would DIE.
depending on how strong a skier you are, the kung fujas or obsethed would be a good option.
also the JMO from On3p would be good in this spot for you, def. check that one out.

im lookin at on3p, might be a lil $ , lizzyz, blend, s3... dont want more than a 171 though so might be a problem with some.

the obsethed's look pretty nice, im also lookin for a good ski in hard packed/groomed for east coast ridin... need a ski that can do EVERYTHING, groom, park, some powder, etc. which might be hard to find

My dad skis obsetheds on the east coast a likes them. I would reccommend pushing them a litttle forward than suggested or whatever you had in mind about 2cm or so. My dad had them at traditional and then got a schizo on them and skis them at +2 and loves them on hardpack.

yea i gotta think about where to mount bindings, but i think i can worry about that after i pick up a pair of skis.. Im thinkin using these for like 70-75%mountain, the rest park(once in a while to get down to the lift).. so not 2 heavy and blahblah

the lizzys for your size will do basicly everything. the extra width is extremely nice because it gives you mor platform for landing and more stability when flying.... at least in my experience

my friend has the s3's and i always hear how much he loves them, best thing for him is that as long as you mount a rossi binding onto them they get a basically no questions asked 2 year warntee

Lizzies: Firstly they measure short, they call them 172 but mine are about 2cm shorter than my lady's 171 ARWs. Also about 3-4cm shorter than a 169 Obsethed. Soft and symmetrical flex and with the snowboard sidecut they do kill it on groomed. I ride them every day without more than 15cm fresh pow, but even in pow they do fine. They were the only ski i took to switzerland the last 2 weeks and i had no problems ripping down some narrow couloirs and some more open pow lines even though mine are centre mounted (yes they ski great at true centre too).

Of your other options. Blend, Obsethed and S3 are all good all mountain skis but the sidecut centre is so far back that a good mount for park messes up the carving performance. I've skied all 3 of those as well as Lizzies and I think I prefer the Lizzies over all of them for everything except for tracked out crud.

= Armarda ARV. Lizzies are done for next year, so that's not a viable option unless you can find an 09/10 on sale. You also might want to check out the Rossi S3.
