1 Year Old Skier

Started both of my girls out on the hill at 22 months with a harness., but nowhere near a park, jumps or boxes, crazy shit! That kid looked like he was having a blast!! and I loved the hockey stick!! the fucking harness got my kids skiing in the back seat which took years to correct, so the harness is not recommended, unless you hook it up to the boots.

If he's really on 1 year old he can still get brain damage just from falling and snapping his neck back too fast, but still awesome.

Am I the first one that thinks this is a little much for a 1 year old. Your body is not ready for this at 1, way to under developed an accident could seriously stunt this child and the "afterbang" has the be terrible for the kids spine with is not developed surrounding muscle to protect it at all.

this a little bit. i dont think he's learning anything that makes it worth the risk of making him do boxes with drop offs half his size at the end. makes me a little uncomfortable that he dosnt have the ability to steer towards those features and choose to do them but is just getting dragged onto them on a stick.

still overall this is super rad, kid will probably be fine and grow up to be an uber ripper!

I started at 2. My dad didn't use a hockey stick, but I like this idea. When you're done skiing with him, you can just wrist him into the back of the SUV and you're off. Convenient as hell.

my buddies kid is skiing and shes 1 but she can stop. He had her skiing before she could talk. She uses and edgie wedgie to keep her feet together.
