1 U.S. Dollar = 0.633994 Euros

well of course the euro is up, summer is coming around and people are planning summer trips, ergo more income. This is an easy way to make money for those of who who are looking you invest everything in euros in the winter and as long as an atomic bomb doesnt go off there itll go up in the summer

sorry, but i'm pretty sure that's not the reason. If my mind isn't messing with me now, the dollar has been really low the last year, at least.

he's right. but its also the us dollar dropping at the same time, which makes it twice as worse

if i was european right now i would so travel to the US to ski...well if it was winter. skiing might not be as god but its half the price as youd pay in your own country

A LOT of them did that this past winter. I cant tell you how many british, german etc. people I met skiing here on the East Coast. They're main reason for coming over here - Its cheaper.

yup yup, we get a lot of brits in noho and on one of our deeper powder days i heard some brittish dude bitching on his cell phone cause the runs weren't groomed

No, your wrong. Macro Economics 101, take a seat...

The in ballance in currency value does not stem from an appreciation in the Euro but a depreciation in the dollar. You can see this by the dollars depreciation against all other major currencies.

Essentially it all stems from the decrese in the fed funds rate (your dollar grows at a slower rate) and the high inflation that we are experiencing (you dollar buys less today then it did yesterday).

When I lived in Europe you could get 1.30 Euros for 1 dollar. That sucks right now, but it will bounce back.

Yeah it's crazy expensive but people don't use it as much. Their cars are more fuel efficient and they've got a great train system. People walk and bike more too.

It's actually going down right now...it's 1.54 USD for a Euro while it was about 1.62 a few weeks ago. Just becasue the feds lowered the interes rate a few weeks ago which they just raised again, so it'll probably go right back up.

I bought a Hybrid Golf driver the other day. Granted i hadn't any idea that the fuel efficiency of golf clubs was a serious factor, nor do i know exactly how it works. I just figure its electric from the top of the arc down through mid-swing then kicks into gas right about foot level for the follow through.

yea, ive been watching the euro like a hawk and i reallly reallllllyy hope it drops a bit more for some travels later in the summer, but itll be bouncing around for a good while. the eu is trying to combat the inflation because they could lose a shit ton of money from american tourists.

the value of the pound has fallen a little over the last couple of months, its still fucking strong though, good place to earn your money, not so good if you wnt to spend your money
