I think it's Indiana university. it's only like 1.5 hours from me. Indiana is pretty flat, especially Bloomington, so the only thing to do it party.
 
That would be OU - I think they are #2 - and they are about 4 hours east of me. I'm pretty sure I will be going there.

this year playboy voted UW MADISON number 1. if anybody here has ever been to miflin street or halloween there, you will understand why. Its funny though, a distributer for miller told me that uw whitewater drinks more beer per student capita than madison though. either way, UW schools kill it. besides those 2 big parties, homecoming at UWW, octoberfest at UWL and the dozens of other great excuses for drunken ridiculousness add up to the rowdiest state school system in the country. plus, wisco kids (as a group) can outdrink any other state, hands down. I'm sure that there are individuals that can outdrink a sconnie kid, but not as a group. anyone who claims different is mistaken.

suny oswego used to be up there too. they have like the record for te most bars in a college town. too bad more then half got shut down due to underage drinking. playboy quoted oswego saying like "they're not in top rank cause they don't hang out with amatures." some corny shit i'll look it up but i'm in art class
 
yeeeeaaaaa i go to the #1 party school (UW-Madison) and it's fucking ridiculous, i love it. every morning i'm still drunk from the night before, this place is WILD. and as markd13 said, halloween and mifflin street block party are insane, chaos. so if any of you cats swing through madison gimme a shout. i love this place
 
Urban myth that is said at most colleges. I have been to at least a dozen campuses where I had this same line spewed to me. Nobody I have talked to has actually seen the article or can give an issue date that says this.
 
at any big university (except maybe harvard) you can party hard any day of the year so how you could rate 1 as the best is beyond me
 
the college i want to go to is on there but i had no idea they were a party school.. Suny ALbany, or i want to go to UB. I thought about LSU for a while.. but there's no skiing there.
 
i go with penn state cause i go there. but yea any big school parties real hard. seriously though i do not know how lehigh university makes it on the top ten all the time, that school definitely doesnt rock out as hard as other schools

You guys... You just dont get it. I mean sure... those schools have good parties. But fuck man.. drinking age of 21? your 3 years done at that point, proably in your 4th year. You should be able to dive right into the partying. Like you can at Bishop's... with a drinking age of 18 and some of the best east cost skiing only 45 minutes away. It can't be beat. Not to mention yearly national media coverage for "partying too hard", having the best campus bar in all of Canada according to Rick Mercer and being 4th on david lettermans top 10 halloween parties (have you ever seen 50% of a town on shrooms?)

I mean... You guys all think your good at partying, and you might be but... I doubt many of you have ever been out 15 nights straight. I doubt many of you have ever hit 3 story beer bongs or fliped cars and light them on fire. I doubt anyof you had had all of the Kingston Police force out looking for your Rugby team. I doubt your campus security vehicals are constantly the target of paintballs. When was the last time a couch was pulled into the middle of the street and light on fire in your student ghetto? Iv been to other universtires and partied at them... they dont compare. People arnt as friendly or welcoming, and people dont get quite as fucked up.

The only reason why Bishop's doesnt appear on these lists is cause 1 its canadaian... 2 its super small and 3... if our secret got out to everyone.... well.. it wouldnt be pretty.
 
uhh dude, that stuff happens at all colleges. what else would you expect from a bunch of 18-23 year old unsupervised kids?

pluss, a drinking age of 21 isnt going to stop kids from drinking. thats not a big deal
 
haha yeah man, ofcrouse... but the diffrence is that im playing it down, when everyone else is exaggerating.

And there is just somehting so special about being able to get drunk infront of the cops, or campus security, and them not being able to do a thing about it.
 
I am very impressed...but i may have a challenger. I spent my last semester studying in Ireland, well you can see where this is going. Those kids are unreal, absolutly unreal. This is no inflation of drinking capability: they can polish 25 American sized beers from 11pm to 3am, and be totally coherent. I guess thats what institutionalized drinking culture will get you.

The car getting flipped didnt happen at bishop, it happened at queeens. I was standing on the car till they lit it on fire. The two top in canada are definately Queens or Western.
 
I am pretty sure Wisconsin is, wait till you go to the Mishlen Street block party, or the haloween party, thats like 150 thousand people packed all in downtown madison basically rioting.
 
yeah, you guys flipped a car too... but a whole year after us. Looks like someone is playing the copycat game.
 
over at UCSB shit gets burned down in the streets every weekend. the town of isla vista has a beach on one side and UCSB on the other, making it party central
 
It's clearly Unicersity of Wisconsin. i live 5 minutes from downtown and every year we have riots from all the partys. the mifflin street block party this year was raining and it was still packed. If you've ever been even close to a big madison party you'll know that you can smell the drugs and beer from blocks away.
