my friend is good friends with the atomic rep. hey gave him the urban triplet with the extra edge under it 4 FREE. he is 1 of 6 people in the usa who has them

 
triplets = gay ... triplets with extra edge = gay

but its pretty sick hes got 1 out of 6 in us...iguess thats cool.

atomic makes some incredible race skis, so I'm very interested to see what technology they can come up with for park skiing.

i've got the triplets, i'm pretty sure there are more than 6 pairs in the us. i've got two pairs, so kinda of three actually

well atomic has been making gnar race skis for a long long time. im sure they could apply thier wealth of knowledge to make some sick park skis. extra edge sounds legit too.

PFD the extra edge runs down the center of the ski, kinda like a wake board. And Atomic skis kick ass, they have the potential to make the best skis for park, their race skis are the best, it might just take them a while to get it right.

wait, wouldn't an edge in the center of the ski be a bad thing? how could that work? it seems to me like 3 edges r just gonna make u more likely to catch an edge and fall

 
cj, you are wrong. there are actually 2 extra edges, each less than a cm in from the outside edge. there's also a harder 'ceramic' base material surrounding these edges. it's not real ceramic, but sorta

Rex had them at our pad at the US Open and they looked pretty sick to me. Sick graphics and a very solid ski and a pipe specific ski also you cant loose with these ski`s.

and the experience of atomic (on race skis) helps to make their park skis more durable.

If i flex a salomon (or a atomic) ski, i am sure that i dont break it. But if i flex something like a armada (i have the ar5s) i 'fear' that they won't held up. Even though i know that they will held up...

Atomic is CRAP!!!! My bro has them, and they are fucking shit for everything. Sure they are light, but there is a reason he does not do rails, if you land hard enough on a rail they will snap in two. Plus they have light foam core, which in summer placed in the right light will melt, my bro shit his pants when he saw this happen to his skis, THEY ARE SHIT, THEEND

I love all these 'newschoolers' who think companies like armada and 4frnt are the end all be all of the sport....you may not like to hear this but nearly all skis are the same!!!!! there I said it....terrain park specific skis are the lowest denominator of skis...they are made cheap and break easy, purposely, so that they are affordable..

I have a pair of atomic 9.20's GS skis and last year I crashd on stuf that might have broken my MSP's and probably even my PE's and they are a fairly tough. Just hualing ass through bumps and shity snow I rode through I'm sure the msp would split on the tips. not even almost a problem with atomics.

I've ridden them, both the Urban and the regular and I think they suck.

I also think their race skis are the most overhyped pieces of shit in the world.

And giving you a 3rd ski is the easiest way out of having to hear people bitch about how shitty the skis are when they break. Mckeeman nailed it.

I have Tweaks and they are awesome for everything. I have hit rails and big jumps and they are so stable. Landing backwards is so fun on them. Very confidence inspiring. Only complaint is the top scratches easy.
