DENVER - One person has died and multiple others were wounded after a shooting and stabbing Saturday afternoon at the Colorado Motorcycle Expo.

A source tells 9NEWS the incident involved two different motorcycle clubs. No one is in custody.

The shooting happened at around 12:45 p.m. near East 46th Avenue and Humboldt Street -- at the National Western Complex, according to DPD.

Denver Health tweeted that nine people were transported to area hospitals after the violence broke out.

There was a large police presence near Denver Health, which was placed on lockdown as a precaution.

Authorities did not have an update on the conditions of the people who were wounded.

They keep cutting in and out of the X Games with news reports and it seems pretty damn chaotic on site. Sounds like there was shooting and some stabbing. 1 confirmed dead. Others in the hospital. No suspects apprehended yet.

Sounds like it was between possibly two biker groups, not sure of the one (mongos maybe?) and the one everyone is talking about is the iron order, basically a motorcycle groups made up of cops that apparently start trouble but can hide behind their badge if shit gets thick.

I talked to my gf about going to this but we ended up not going. I know some people from the sportbike club were going but I haven't heard anyone say anything.

Anyways like 1 dead, 6 injuried. Mostly shootings with one stabbing. Someone didn't get the memo and brought a knife to a gun fight!
