09 salomon no more thrusters of foils????? good or bad

salomon 2009 gear is posted in the 09 gear preview. are excited about two new models or did u like the thrusters and foils.
 
oh and no more spk ski ll start it offf i think the thrsters and foils where the ski salomon should of kept making maybe salomon could have dropped like the gun for rocker series and maybe the foil but i thoght that the thrusters were realy nice skis
 
i love my foils, i think they should have just put wood cores in the thruster and foil, and kept them...they were an awsome ski, they sort of represented salomon...you know? everything knew they made foils and thrusters
 
but we don't even know how their line skis, they always do a good job, i count on salomon and mike d to make good skis

but i really want to get a pair of those teneighty 10th anniversary editions, if i could afford it. hell, if i could afford one pair, i'd probably ball out and get three, one for keeping, one for skiing, and one for backup, only cause i loved my old 1080s

here's the thing about the foil, it wasn't just park, it was also allmountain. the suspect, spk pro, threat, my thai and dumont are park specific, so it's not they're replacing the foils, only spks and thrusters. the 10th ann edition of the 1080s are probably good all mountain skis, i kno, no width, but cool for us east coasters

they have that 'edge armor' in their new park skis, which is a huge plus

if ur going to ride ur ski allmountain, like a bit in the pow, a lil rocker in the tip makes life so much easier, so it is good to incorporate it into the allmountain twins

and they have the CZAR, looks coooool
 
word... i love the white "party inspired" graphics on last year's foils. Really fun ski.

Does the 1080 Anniversary ski have a foam core?

I'm kinda torn between the Lord and the Suspect or Dumont.

The Lord seems like a dope all mountain ripper ... but will the 20cm's of tip rocker be akward in park?

The Suspect and Dumont look so good ... but both have wastes smaller than the foil...only like 3 cms i think but still...

 
^^ i think the lord is gunna be a sickkkkk ski perfect for all mtn riding and i think that it wont be rockered that much to affect performance hugely plus salomon always seems to make relaly solid nice turning skis so im sure itll be sick...i think the suspects also would make a dope all mtn ski if they are decently stiff and have a nice turn radius
 
keep in mind that the thruster was very similar to the teneighty... and salomon is releasing a 10th anniversary teneighty ski... so in a sense, its not going anywhere
