09 Dumonts or Suspects? +k

I'm 13, 5'1", 90 lbs, and i'll be doing 80% park/pipe, 15% all mountain, 5% urban....

price isn't too much of an object, cuz i can get a great deal from my uncle(makes the difference just about 40$).... im leaning towards the dumonts, but im not sure... give reasons for your choice...
 
suspects because its not worth the extra money for the same ski with Dumonts name on it and"double edge armor" which in my opinion, does nothing, especially for you because you are so small and probly wont be bashing rails night and day. basically, it comes down to traffics because they are essentially the same ski. i would go for the 10th aniversary ten eighty because its a really good ski and not many people will have it (its last years Dumont with a different graffic)
 
if you will be stuck with the ski u choose for a while, go for the dumonts i geuss. the only difference if the stronger edge armor, which coud be worth it for only 40 dollars more. which graphic do you like more? there both sick i think....l
 
exactly the edge armour is a marketing thing makes little diffirence i would personaly go with the suspects bit cheaper but i think the graphics are sicker on the suspects both dope skis tho
 
I say suspects, cause the dumont is kinda sketch, there's prolly a reason why dumont doesn't ski it all that often, but i would choose the teneightys cause they are like last years dumont, if not the same ski different graffic.
 
1080s like last years dumont, never herd that. i was mostly getting at the graphic difference when i posted before, didnt mean to make ege armor sound really great. sorry for any confusion.
 
Personally i got the 09 dumonts... i like the graphics more and i bargained the guy 100 dollars of......... so i got it even cheaper then the suspects.... up to you........... its an asome ski..
 
yea Dumont is skiing on last years with this years graffic. the 09 teneighty is last years Dumont, same shape and core. i personally like that ski for some reason, the only reason i didn't like last years thrusters is because the core still had foam in it. the suspect looks liek a really nice ski though. and i agree that edge armor is a gimmic. look and Matt Walker in last month's issue of Freeskier, he was on one suspect and one dumont becaue he ripped an edge out of his other dumont. so much for 60% more edge hodl or whatever they claim
 
i like the graphic on the dumont more, so far im thinking dumont, but is there any difference whatsoever besides the graphic and egde armour???
 
theres somthing sketchy about the dumonts that i dont like the feeling of. i cant think why simon wouldnt be using them. id go with the suspects man, take note that all salomons pros are on them, and actually sking them. the dumonts are fishy
 
word. and the funny part is that he is using last years ski with this years graffic. pretty pathetic.
 
Wrong, like nobody knows this but the dumont is a pound lighter ski for ski compared to the suspect. Theres a compasiion between the two in backcuntry
 
the dumonts and suspects are the exact same construction, the only difference is the egde armour.

go for the 1080 decades, they are last year dumont,exact same ski.
 
The tails on the Dumonts are stiffer then the Suspects (cause Simon wants it for boosting out of the pipe)

Double edge armor vs Single edge armor.

Both are nice skis either way.
