i havent skied these, but weve carried them in our shop. last years were kinda shitty, cupped bases, bad pressings. but a pair of 09s came through yesterday, and they looked pretty damn sick. dunno if they changed um but they looked alot better.
as for the ski itself, they are really light, and have a pretty damn soft flex, like an invader, but lighter, prolly a lil less pop, and faster/better edge grip

Yep, the construction of this ski sucks, almost as bad as Atomic's warranty system. They are a fun ski though, unless you case a jump the first day you ride them in which case this happens;
And if you get them warrantied the first time and try to warranty them again 2 months later because they break again dont even bother.
Granted I was a little heavy for them but the general construction of the ski was horrible.
And as far as I know, there isn't much of a difference between Punx and Urban Punx.
