Wasup. Lookin for a new park ski this season. I currently have 177 Volkl Walls 08/09 with STH 12 binding and find them abit heavy. Im in england and ski in an indoor slope; spendin most of my time on boxes, rails and small jumps. I want something light, poppy, great on rails, easy to spin, very durable and good value for money. What ski wud u recomend? what size? and what would be a good binding to go with them? im 5' 10" and 165lb.

Thanks NS.

If you used the searchbar you would have found that Libery Phil Larose and Marker Griffons arel are probably the lightest combination. Invaders/Afterbangs, Armada Ar6's, Line Anthems, and Chronics are other good skis that fit most of the categories you specified. (I personally don't know why you dislike your setup, it's pretty good)
As far as length goes, I'm about your size and I'm ordering 177 Afterbangs, so I'd say anything in the 170s would be fine.
Since you're indoors, I doubt you will be charging big lines so Griffons would probably be the best bet for light bindings.

sorry about the double post, but I noticed you're new here so no worries about not searchbarring

Its not that i dont like my walls. Its just that they're pretty wrecked. thanks alot though. really helpful!

your in england? same here, MK for me.

I'm pretty much in the same situation as well, I used to ride some old Anthems but i managed to rip off my friend and sell them to him binding-less for £200. So im going for the Invader 08/09 purely cos i like the graphics, and on an indoor slope which at the most is about 160m all you can do is butter. They're amazingly light as well.

Hope this helps, get them short if your on a dry slope btw.

MK for me too, i ride scott punishers with tyrolia peak 12 bindings, really light setup.
looking into getting some chronics at some point though.

If your main focus is on rails then you should get the 177 Line Afterbang. It's super light and super flexible.
