09-10 Liberty Helix

wondering how the flex is and durability of this ski. thinking of getting it this as like a one ski quiver deal. any knowlege on this ski would be appreciated. thanx
 
I have the 09 model, which is the same as far as I know. Such a sick ski! Very smooth, medium flex. Kills pretty much everything - fast on groomers, fun in pow, pretty good in crud, and really really fun in the park. The bamboo core makes em super poppy, so gettin onto rails is surprisingly easy for their size. As far as durability, they seem to be holding up pretty well - not indestructible, but not falling apart at all either. Pm me if wanna know more.
 
Liberty makes some nice skis, the Double Helix is awesome, the only I don't like about them is the finish, they frigging come out with the bases looking like climbing skins, they just belt finish it seems like and they look horrible.
 
I've been on the 176 Helix for the last few years. One of my favorite skis ever. I have mine mounted at 2 cm behind center, and I use them for everything (pow, bc jumps, some park, trees, etc.).
