08 walls

soo good, best ski of the year. buy them and you will be incredibly pleased with performance all around the mountain and obviously in the park

took mine out 4 the first time last saturday and I really liked them. They ride really well all over, they're stable, have a solid feel to them and are still butterable, not as stiff as everyone's saying. Plenty of pop too, I've only skied them once though so I cant really give you a full report but i hope that helps

08 Walls. as in the green ones? Well they had major durability issues. Loads of people (most?) had a problem. I had the bindings pull out of mine three times (after 3 days, 8 days and 16 days). Then i got em helicoiled but i don't really use em anymore. I will say this, they do ride really well though.

I have both 08's and 09's and have rode my 09's this weekend. I noticed that the 09's are softer in the tails then the 08's were, not really sure about the nose tho. Im 5'9" and im riding 185's, I don't think Volkl made any changes to the small sizing, that's why I upped in size this year to the 185's. Anyways the ski is great overall, I can't wait to hit a nice jump with them tho.

5 foot 9 is 175cm so.. 185s will be about 6 or 7 cm above the top of his head.. (they come up short)... It's normal for a centre mounted park ski to be at least as tall as the rider, but it depends on personal preference and skill level. I'm 5'9 aswell and I have one pair of 171s and one pair of 181s. and i still think you are better off getting the 09s because warranty is a hassle and you wont have skis for like 3-6 weeks of the season if they break.. Volkl are difficult to contact and can be really bad about warranty (from my experience)
