08 v 09 Look PX12 Jib Ti

Does anyone know what the difference is between last seasons and this seasons Look PX12 Jib Ti binding?

Is it enough to justify a $50 price difference? Will be mounted on '09 AR6s

absolutely worth it. the toe piece stayed the same, but they got the heel from the px15/18, so it has a steel reinforcement on the mounting screws, similar to what salomon did with the STH bindings, and it has a wormscrew for forward pressure adjustment now instead of the tab, so its back to the old system that worked well with the P series bindings, just without the pivoting heel.

if the 09 px12 jib is the same as the sas2 120 then the toe piece is different. it no longer has that sliding thing right under the toe, it just has a solid piece that remains stationary. look here

mm shit i just got the 08 px12 jib ti. they still good binding?

correct. better power transmission to the edge on wider skis, and fewer moving parts to break.

Thanks for the replies, I think I might stick with the '08s because I reckon the sliding plate under the toe piece is necessary if I want to keep my knees in a fall.

How heavy are these bindings? If anyone has them unmounted could you put them on the scales quickly...

does anyone know some good bindings under 100$ and for a guy that weighs 120 and is about 5 foot 3 that would be on the new salomon flyers (08) that are 151
