08 SPK

not sure i was thinking the same thing they have a few differnt models of the same boot anyone got any insight on this??

the pro model SPK, much like the pro model 1080, is just a beefed up version or the regular SPK, a little stiffer, and probably some other slight differences (liners etc..)

Yep, and the kreation is exactly the opposite, little cheaper liner, maybe a slightly softer flex.

I really wish I could try on a pair, but I've not been able to find a shop near me that carries them.

I found a place in Wisconsin so if u live near there message me and ill give u directions... but ya the new pro spk is sick as hell...i tried on a few boots and that one fit the best....its a wider boot so it fit me really well... so i would suggest that if u run a wide foot...but i tried on the rossi' boots and they were pretty comfy but just to narrow... but all around i would go to a good boot fitter and just try on a few boots... it took me like a hour to find the boot i wanted so...takes time but well worth to get a good fit......get what feels good.....the place i went didnt let me see the boot i had on and then told me to flex and feel the boot and then tell me which foot was better and ended up like the SPK the best... good quality boots!

SPK Pro Model looks SO SICK! I had last years SPK's and loved them. I will be getting the Pro Model this year. Awesome boot!!!!

i htink they look kinda wierd, they almost look like a snowboard boot in real life and they have leather on the outside of them, seems like they would be heavier with the extra junk

The Pro Model has other than the fact it's got a leather textile cover over it, the main difference is:

- the Pro also has a shock absorber in the toe (not just in the heel)

And take notice that both, the Kaos and the SPK Pro both have a flex of 95!

I cant decide if I like the leather or not... seems like it might get ruined kinda easy. like if your edge hits or something on a grab or something. Idk.

leather is really not that heavy at all, not in the small amount, that stuff is not that think.

as if ski boots aren't bulky already. A couple mm of leather won't make a difference.

to the kid who thinks it will get cut up. what tougher leather or the synthetic material that is stitched of the bottom of your ski pants.

Leather cuff cannot be removed...

Same "Gel" 3D shock inserts...

Pro 95 flex; Kaos 95 flex

Pro has "Pro" liner with more moldable material

versus "sport" liner in Kaos...

Kaos is identical to last year's boot...

Kreation has "autofit" non-heat moldable liner...

No Lace-up liner...

85 flex

No "Gel" Insert...

No padded Spoiler...

Smaller(45mm versus 55mm) power strap...

I Talked to a Salomon rep about the SPK Pro model and he said a couple runs and the outside is totally trashed because of the leather.

its definatley true for full tilt, i ride flexons and they are definatley lighter then pretty much every other boot

no the kreation is he toned down blue one i have it and its uber light and really nice not as nice as the others but nice and then the kaos is the same as last years and its white
