I know its early to be thinking about what skis to get, but i dont really care.

I want to get a pair of fat skis next year for the ocasional powder day and just to mess around with. I really like the look of next years seths but im not sure about the rocker. Im 61 175 pounds and i know that the rocker decreases surface length so idk if the 179 would be enough ski out of real deep snow. I ski really tight trees alot so i dont want tehe 189.

Any input from others who have actually skied a rockered ski, will the 179 feel really small for me?

well the seth doesnt have much rocker just mini. buttt i had hellbents and i was on 179s but im 5'6 120 lbs. they ski really short cuz of the rocker, theres not much running edge. heres my advise to you tho; if you are a good skier get 189 seth and mount near center theyll be fine in trees

the rocker on the seth is so so so so so so FUCKING small you shouldnt worry about it. seriously. not at all.

you're six/one. get the 189 for sure. 179 would be a fun park ski, but way too small for anything else. you won't be disappointed.

people have always prefered seths longer for what you want. the only feedback about the MINI rocker i've read is that it makes very little difference. helps with less tip dive.

i'd go 189 and i'm sure you'll love them

i rode the 189s this year and was able to ride next years...you can hardly notice a difference on hardpack but a huge difference in pow they float a lot better!!

not one bit....personally i would ride them at +3 or +4 the ones i rode were at suggested and i had no problems whatsoever!

i just skied them a couple days at camp and they r pretty sick skis...they turn pretty good but they are pretty heavy. they rocker isnt that noticable but you def can do some sick butters and shit on them if ur into that. mite be a littel chatery at speeds though idk i didnt try them out on groomers
