08 Scratch Brigade - Suitable for me?

I've been thinking about getting kung fujas for the coming season but the world economy has kinda screwed our exchange rate with the us so it'll be too expensive for me to get them.

Today I found a brand new unmounted pair of 08 scratch brigades in the 178 length for $450 NZD including a pair of scratch axial 100 binders thrown in.

Would these skis be alright for me? I'm about 179cm 65kg (more like 70 with ski gear I guess) and mainly ski all mountain, or as bigger mountain as is possible to get in 'resorts' here in NZ with some pretty basic park stuff. I've got anthems which are awesome for park but they're too soft for me when skiing hard on steep stuff.

Would the 178 size be alright for me? According to their size by weight I my best option would be the 171, but I think that would be too short for me.

How stiff are the scratches compared to PEs or seths? I've ridden both of them and had lots of fun of the seths, the PEs were ok but they just didn't seem to cut it for me.

I've spent quite a bit of time on scratch fs and found that pretty fun to ride so I'm guessing the bc will be fairly similar, just a bit stiffer?

Just to add to what I've already said, I've checked out all the reviews n what not and they seem like a pretty dope ski but I was just wanting a bit more info about them. chur

i dont know much about them but they seem right for you, im thinking about trying to snag a pair of them but im currently broke so i can't

my brother has a pair of scratch brigade BCs. he likes them but says there a bit stiff. and yes the 178 is the right size for you.

do it for sure. they are super nice all around, park, all mtn, pow, etc. the flex is more forgiving than the PEs and i think a touch softer than the Seths. really a great ski. the length should be fine too. mount them like +2 or 3 from modern
