Would you recommend the 08 k2 public enemies as park skis, i want to buy a park ski but i also want to be able to ski a little bit everywhere. i want to buy a 08 model, what do you guys recommend...

The new PE's are the Extreme for 08. It is most definitely a ski you can take anywhere. It is a bit stiffer than most 'park' skis. How much do you weigh? Where do you live/ ski? Height? Ability?

if ur used to skiing like invaders or fujis or other soft skis, PEs will manhandle you. the reason i got mine is cause i'm used to stiff race skis. i use mine for all mountain skiing, which they're really good for. in the park they're ok, just not very poppy.

for skiing everywhere and only sometimes in the park they're ideal, they charge over the whole mountain, only place they're not so good in is ice, and park I guess, but you've gotta weigh up what you want to do more. they also last for ages

I thought the enemy was a great all around ski...i had the 06 07 model...sick all around ski...i live in colorado and they were great even in a bit of pow..of course a seth or hellbent is better but thats just a given.....honestly, you cant go wrong with that ski....i would wait for the 08 season to start, demo a pair at your local mountains demo days if your mountain gets those...if not i bet there is a shop near you that would have them as a demo of some sort...if you are iffy about them demo first.

They are amazing on ice...that is a result of Triaxial Braiding, which inhibits a ski from wanting to twist as you are putting it through the ringer. Wrapping the core in overlapping opposing angles of fiberglass creates torsional rigidity...aka the shit on hard snow. People say the ski is stiff, but Sean Pettit isn't heavy and he rocks the skis pretty well.
