08 liberty helix?

I'm looking for a versatile pow ski and I saw the liberty helix. the 08s are going for like 390, so how are they? good ski? I am 5'5" but still growing so could i use a 176? also, how stiff are they?
 
176 seems a tad big for you, in my opinion. Even if you're growing you'll prolly only be on them for a season so, I'd go with something a little shorter (like a 171, I'm not sure on their sizes though).
 
176 is smallest size... I probably go with it anyway because I definitely want something I won't totally outgrow soon. Any more info on like the flex and stuff? The stiffness is the only thing that scares me... Please respond quick because I don't know how much longer that deal will last.
 
they aren't stiff. they are fairly soft in the tip and tail, but there's a progressive flex so that it gets gradually stiffer as you go from the tip and tail toward the middle of the ski. Get em. they are such a good ski.
 
How old are you? If you are younger than, say, 15, then I would say you will grow more and you can get the 176.

Personally, I know nothing about the stiffness. I know that I am 5'7" and I have 175 ARVs, which are super soft, and they've been great for me.
