08 burton shit

i just saw all of the 08 burton stuff.

it is cool beans for sure. there is a baby blue and purple one piece, a purple suit, this really cool colour of blue/greenish, a dope puffy that has like diamonds on it, lots of patterns, really bright orange, alot of shades of red, a full denim suit, some browns and beiges, green plaid and red plaid, and i forget but everything was really dope.

and they made all of the ak stuff look even sicker/less mountaineer

some of thier 08 boards are so sick. The dominant looks like a skate deck with grip take graphics on the top. I don't know about the speed zone binding system, seems kinda sketchy

I wish a skiing company had the money to invest in outerwear and freeride gear that Burton has to put into snowboarding. it is ridiculous that 3/4 of my outerwear is Burton, and I doubt that trend will discontinue. Freakin snowboard company... come on ski companies!

There's no market for quality, stylish, but not obnoxious, tight, or "euro" outerwear in skiing. There's also no market for Burton AK level stuff made by ski outerwear companies.

Which really fucking sucks, because I'm sick of having to rock Oakley, Burton, Sessions, Whiteout, etc. Why can't Orage step up and make something that doesn't blow?

last year the womens stuff was too girly and this year it looks that way again. they make the jackets so short now. i have a long torso and i like long jackets. i think i may go with the "white collection" next. i love shaun's style. the 05/06 season for women's jackets were the best. the red plaid is the shit!

the ronin stroll down jacket looks SICK - like the long duk dong except sicker. A couple other jackets were sweet, but not amazing. I am interested to see someone rock the baby blue and purple one piece

yeah on the girls stuff. i really don't think it embraces the female rider. all of the girls i know with burton jackets don't even ski/snowboard or if they can its just a me and my friends are going to hit the bunny slope this weekend so its probably more of a style factor than it performing. Not wearing short jackets, staying to the bunny hill, or being a girl this is just an educated guess. don't bash me for it.

my jacket that i got almost two years ago has all the shit i need. it's longer too. it's not too girly either. i'm not into the whole fur hoodie thing and the polka dots. just gimme a damn jacket that is for girls who rip. like hannah, she wears like a size bigger in burton.

I have the burton 08 softgoods book in front of me and i have to say i love their hats!! the guys stuff is impressive but the girls is just ok. My fav is a neo striped one called "grandmama" their "new era caps" are amazinnng too just thought id let ya kno and this stuff has a delivery date of 6/1 and 8/1
