hey, there is no pics of the new armadas. does anybody have some, or seen any. i really wanna know what the new ar3's are like. thx
 
the ar3s are gone - it's now called the Coda, they're all capped construction and have an off-white top sheet.
 
no it just makes them cheaper to make. the coda is part of the "fleet" series. for less expensive more beginner type skis. but just use the search bar. theres a thread somewhere showin the entire line up. or at least most of them. i'm not feelin the ar6's next year. graphic wise that is. they have animals that look like cartoon animal crackers on them
 
maybe so... but the top sheet damage from the little ones (at least from mine) was uhhhhh.. how do I put it.............. excessive. I think it is smart move provided the performance is still the same.. Would love to stick a pair on my kid right now and try them out.
 
the armada pics got deleted from that thread. only people who have em are people who saved the pics when they were up.

niether its a new ski and im pretty sure they still have the arv and i know they have the ar6 just look up a few pics
 
no the AR6 and ARV are still around

the El Ray is a new ski that will be more of a lower end all mountain ski, along the lines of the Public Enemy
 
capped construction is crap. i guess you never got the memo that if you wreck the sidewall, its way more expensive to fix on capped then sandwhich construction. boooooo armada.
 
yea, but with capped construction it's easier and cheaper to make. aka, good for lower end skis. And you get less top sheet chips and it's more durable. and since it is replacing the AR3, I don't really see that many 10 year olds blowing out the sidewalls
 
thats dead on what there for. its ok we all knew armada would start sellin out sooner or later...its not bad now. just wait a few years
 
I don't think the AR-6 was ever marketed as, nor coined a "low grade all mtn ski." The Ar-6 looks quite the same. As for the capped skis...who cares? Aren't most of Lines skis capped? Pretty much everyone makes a capped ski. If you don't want it, buy the ar-6, ant, etc.
 
Yeah- same here.. When I first saw them I was like WTF.. Now after a month or so I'm really starting to like them...

171cm has the kid & glasses with the gun

181cm are super colorful...

I love the clean look of the PC's & the new JJs are stick to.
