08/09 k2 obSETHed mounting points

hey guys,

I'm an east coaster who will be working at Kirkwood this season. I was just able to pick up some 08/09 obsethed 189s and i was curious as to the propper mounting point. Seth himself as well as k2 say +3 is the way to go. I'm 5'11" 185 to 190 lbs and i have fantasies of riding switch down huge steep powdery faces ala andy, pep, and pollard in "idea". i will be using these a LITTLE for park but i really want a point that is gonna give me hard charging big mountain performance with the occasional switch landing off a natural feature. what do you guys think?
 
Stick with +3 if you want them for charging, IMO. My friend has a pair at +4.5 but we spend a fair amount of time playing around in the park.
 
I m very similar height + weight to you and i mounted my 09/10 189cm obsethed's @ +6cm ... They were super legit @ that mount and had heaps of fun back country jibbin and blats of straight lining here and there ... Obviously not as burly as the armada ant but still held its own ...
