i know they tried to fix the edge rip out problem for rails, think the 07's will actually stay in tack??
 
stay intact, you mean? I didnt think TMs had a lot of other problems aside from edges, and they are claiming to have fixed that
 
hy looked super solid when i checked them out. They have reinforced edges but in the end we will just have to waight and see
 
if you detune your edges well, the new design is quite useful. I have over 40 days on one pair of my '07s and theyre very intact.
 
ye id say that they fixed it, the whole sidewall looks more reinforced. im def considering getting a set, does anyone know how they ride
 
i talked to a guy in hood and he said that he had at least a month of rails on them and not even a crack. and this guy was good as shit. he said they ski exactly the same just don't fall apart as easily.
 
if thats the case then they might be worth buying, cause the TM is the best ski I've ever used for anything but powder and edge durability.
 
175 or 182 is perfect, and its good how skinny they are (78) makes em edge nicely and feel sharp and responsive. i detuned the edges fully on my 06's and have 2 months on em, 1 little edge crack. so detuning helps alot.
 
they can be mounted true, although they dont ride best at true center.

its odd though how far back the reinforcement is, but generally you should be fine even with center mount.
 
hmm, see i'm in a bind cause i really liked the temptresses but i went into my local ski shop and they were telling me that the TMs were probably better for me... i love moguls, ski a lot of all mountain and try to get myself into pow as often as possible ( i also want twin tips) so... stuck
