i was planning on going with the t-halls... pre ordered them and everything.. then idk now.. how r the dumonts supposed 2 b?

dumonts are explained as slopestyle weapon so i dont know i think the dumonts are fatter but dont have soft tips and tails. i dont like the dumont graphics thoe

I don't really kno whow they ski. Probably if you want more all mountain, the dumont? I'm not really sure though.

what? do you not understand that those skis are copying the scar face theme? Have you ever watched the movie? Dopest shit ever, just like the skis. I rode last years t halls for most of the season, and they were the shit, super livley and fun, go with those.

Aright before you start running your mouth get your facts straight the dumont is a wood core ski and the 1080 is a foam core soooo its a different ski and its wider with less of a sidecut so blah...

i just got the 07 t halls, i havent skiied them yet but i had a choice between these two alos, i went with the t halls cuz ive heard so many good things about them, so far ive heard they have great pop, light as hell, and they are nice and buttery. to me that sounds like a dope park ski

dumont.........if you get any other ski.....i think i would have to punch you in the face or something

umm, dumont. he went 5 feet bigger than tanner on every hit and had harder grabs. but if you're going off that then you'd get P3s cause we all know lolo killed them both with his switch hits.

T-hall is not last years AR5, and whoever told you that is a complete moron. I have a problem with Salomon in general, the foam core + crappy warranty = I don't want them (at least in my mind), but some people are saying the Dumonts have a wood core, I looked on the Salomon site and can't find anywhere it says that the Dumont is a wood core ski...if it was me, I'd get the T-hall.

IMO t-halls hare over rated. The dumonts are super progressive and are made by solomon, so you know the quality is the best, and they DO have a wood core (not that it matters, thier foam cores are just as good). There's really no choice, get the dumonts.

thalls=cooler graphics

dumont=better ski

Never skiied either, just what I've heard and what not. I think either would be a really good ski.

Some one show me where you are finding that it says the Dumont is a wood core ski...I looked on the Salomon site in the tech section and can't find that it says that anywhere.

oo crazy this is back. ha u gotta check the postdate... i went for fujis by the way... didnt wanna spend all that money on the thalls or dumonts

haha thats what i did. for the cost of the thalls or dumonts, i got skis, binders, and half the price of my boots.

yo simon told me himself that they got a wood core.....if you really want more proof send me the money and ill cut one of my dumonts in half so u can see the inside

in all seriousness. i hae this years thalls. ive finally got a couple days on them and they are so sick. awesome flex, a lot of pop, smooth butters. i cant say anything about the dumonts. id usually pull the foam core card, but it is a wood core ski. so... support the smaller company and get armada?

agreed. But last year sammy had some dumonts on the hill we were asking em how he liked em cause he usually rides thrusters at meadows, he said they were dope he wasnt used to the wood core. We sessioned the pipe and he said thats were they really stick out...but he kills it on any ski any part of the mountain been like that since his first pair pair of yellow 1080's 7-8 years ago.

have fun when the fujis loose their camber after 10 days. K2 presses their camber into ski, it's not already there in the wood, so they loose their camber much faster than a normal wood core ski would. in my case one of my skis went reverse camber while the other is flat.
