not sure if theyre the freeride ones

Thank god they still left those the same. If they toook the pivoting heel off of those.......they would just suck.

does anyone else just think those bindings are just cooler than all the others...i love how when you take them off and the heel gets kicked off way to the side and people always tell or ask i think ur bindings are broke..they are just so phat i my opinion, especially the all black ones.

So, sort of off-topic, but I'm going to be buying some LP's here pretty soon and was wondering if I should get some p12's on them or just go all-out and get FKS 155's. I've found the 155's for $220 and I'd definitely get them over p12's if there will be a noticeable performance gain, but I'm still undecided. Any advice?

the FKS 155 will only weight .1lbs more than normal stock bindings.

Basically the race stocks are more torsionally stiff and will last much longer. If you have the cash, go for it. They last forever.

Only shitty part is having to bend the brakes out, which really isnt that hard. There is a great tutorial on TGR if you are interested.

Does the toe release verically on the 155's, or is it only horizontal? I heard on some of the race bindings they won't release that way and I'm about to buy a set for $189 so I thought I'd ask first.

Hmmmmm....sounds like a good way for me to snap my precious legs off. Maybe I'll end up going with regular bindings instead.

For the 2007 season, I don't think that they are making the FKS except for the race skis. The axial2 binding is going to be made in a WorldCup200 model. That is the binding that the freeride team will likely be on.

2007 FKS bindings are already available in Freeride and Race versions. The PX20 (or Rossi equivalent) was used on the WC last season. Freeride team might get it, but FKS bindings are available regardless.

I love how people think they need a binding with a DIN of 18. Sure the design is nice and durable, but who needs a DIN of 18. I think rossi should make these up to like a 14 for mortals.

they do. they make a bindings with din up to 12 and a binding with the din up to 15.

and just because someone has race stocks doesnt mean they are running a 15+ din.

I only have s916s now and ski between 10-11. never more.

The same heelpiece as the 155s? Shit that's awesome. I've only seen the black/gold ones that look like the axial series.
