Hey Bryce, I've got a pair or Chronics too and they are very good skis. They are not quite like the AR6 though. AR6 is a little more park oriented while the chronic is a little more stiff for all-over-the-mountain performance. The AR6 is not better, people just think it must be because it is more expensive. Armada is a great ski company, but keep in mind it is an expensive one, you pay more for the name and the cool factor. Line is a bit cheaper than most because of their manufacturing techniques, and they save money by not maintaining a pro team anymore. It wasn't always this way: the first generation of Chronics sold for $500 or more, that was before they moved their factory (for the first time) to make manufacturing cheaper. Now they sell the same product for less. You will get more than your $400 worth.
