'07 1080 Flyers

Hey guys, my friend just bought some '07 Salomon Teneighty Flyers. The first time he used them, hit a 40 footer and part of the tip cracked, and now it looks like the front of it is coming off. Anything he should be worried about besides that?

Yeh, he has a warranty on them, but it just seems like they are shit for falling apart immediately. Do companies take skis back like that?

yes....thats what a warranty is for...you send them back and get new ones

salomon skis are really soft but i never heard of a tip crack like that. he hit something?

i had some salomons before my armadas and the same thing happened to me. If he can ski on them how they are then i recommend not sending them back till the end of the season because it takes a while to get back.
