Have they changed since the first ones other than the added width and non detuned edges, because my old pair are pretty much done, and i really like the ski
 
the only thing that comes to mind is the added edge thickness. somethin along the line of 2.5 mm instead of 2mm. i think. i could be thinking about the ar6 that bumped it up. do the original thalls have the little notches on the edge of the ski on both sides of the tip for a little more flexiness?
 
yeah, one of the worst skis in there this year. they liked the thruster alot though. thats a surprise. im still happy with my dumonts. according to freesier it looks like the thrusters are more buttery tan the dumonts which i wouldnt like since i will use the ski out of the park every 3-4 runs.
 
they chip soo easy. and show everything.. i skied next years there same as last years with a new graphic lol? maybe some changes i didnt really c any
 
nahh, last season they had a week long testing thing with a bunch of good skiers. i heard ben anderson was there.
 
yeah as much as i like freeskier and all, just they can never really write a bad review for a ski, like their lowest rating is a 7 out of 10, and im gunna get the t halls i mean i liked the ones i had before so and it doesnt sound like they changed the ski that much, im going to go pick them up on sunday

is it snow where you live? if so, can you please give us a small review in this thread?
 
well i go to college in Duluth MN, and my mom is coming up sunday but i can only put 200$ on my debt card, so she is gunna buy them and she'll just transfer the money to her account, and yeah theres no snow here and it probably wont be for a while, but im hoping. Maybe when i get them mounted ill just play around with them in my apt to see how they flex for butters and presses
 
well considering the ar6 and the thalls are pretty much the same ski shows how much freeskier ruined the reviews this year. the ar6 got really good reviews and they said the thall blew. freeskier is fucking retarded
 
Where have freeskier reviewed the t-hall? I can only find AR6 review on their website.

Maybe a fattie tested the t-hall and they had too much flex for him :O

who knows...
 
naw, they said it might be too specific (towards what tanner wants) to be good for really anyone unless you're like well, tanner
 
yeah cuz tanner toootally rides the thall. i've never seen him ride the thall once except for advertisements
 
yea me neither, hes seems to be always on pipecleaners, thats what i dont get...hmmm somethings fishy here
 
well i got them today, and i laid my old ones over the new ones, and there is pretty much no change from the skis except for the width, i know that doesnt say too much, but i think these skis will be a good replacement, i.e. the same
 
I seen them in my local shop, and i flexed them out. They have the same core/similar design to the original AR5. Softest ski in the whole line up. They are wider then the AR6 too. I love that ski....i don't really like the rasta graphic though. Really sick ski.
 
So I finally skied the for the first time today, and they were super fun to ride, nice and soft, im a light guy 6ft 1 and weight 135lbs, so i like a softer ski. I thought they handled well, I mean, they werent great for out of the park, but hey its not an all mountain ski. Im glad that they stopped detuning the edges too, I had the original ones, and they took down alot of the edge when they detuned them, and you pretty much just slid around.
 
Um, no. They're not the same ski at all. Flex is completely different. It's the PC and AR6 that are nearly the same.
