07/08 Ski Graphics are terrible!

when SIA came out I was dissapointed but know Im gettin the jist of the graphics...theres deff been better years thoe

I like all of the k2s, in response to the kid that asked above. 

I didn't like the seths last year at all. this year is a big improvement.

 
in my mind K2 has the best graphics out of all the brands this year. Way better then any other year before it. Line comes in at a close second ( the EP pros, Chronics, SFBs look really good). Salomon stepped up their game this year in graphics. But Armada has really crap graphics this year.

The best graphics that armada had were either the original AR5 black/green or black/red........or the first year they used the Madsteeze graphics.
 
im not too fond of the scratch steeze's actual graphics, but the color is sweet, and same thing with the new TM's, i think the retro TM's look sick though....and armada ar6's and arv's arnt that great either.. i think graphic of the year goes to the Hellbents though.
 
i have to completely disagree...i thought line's graphics this year were the best they have ever been. And what about the Jon Olsson pros????????? they are sick
 
K2 Really impressed me this year.

So did Pollard's Line's (EP, Bacon, Lizzies)

And I really like 4frnt. I don't get what whoever was insulting them sees, they look amazing.

Armada kind of grows on me.

All the rest are blah.
 
The entire K2 line ALWAYS has amazing graphics. The 4FRNT MSPs and grom skis are rediculously good looking. Surface threw herringbone and holly branches one one ski and had TJ Schneider do another. Pollard's artwork is uber rad...How can anyone think nothing looks good this year?
 
I couldn't agree more. Right from the first PE, schmies has been KILLING it.

The Hell Bent is one of my favourite graphics ever. I love them so much, so goddamn metal!! I wish I had a pair of those for the pow!

haha, that is so true about the anthem graphics. but i agree with you, i was really disappointed. i'm sure the companies had quite the arsenal of graphics to choose from, i don't know how they managed to pick almost entirely all shitty ones...
 
k2's graphics are the best this year, always put out quality shit every year... the hell bents are dope, seth's too, they are always sick. K2 never lets me down graphics wise.

Salomon - get some style please, or actually hire an artist.

Dynastar - cheesy, they tried to go like the retro computer look 80s style, stupid.

So yeah, k2 wins in my book.

As for the 4frnt graphics, I am not taking anything away from the artist who did the MSP's, he did a ridiculous job on them, I'd love to have that mural on my wall, but on skis, no. I just dont think its too creative to have mountains on your skis, thats all. Much props to the artist though.

...And it is pretty damn funny that Line made the anthem now that I think about it, I take that one back. But for people who don't get the joke, or don't throw down serious tricks and can't "pull-off" the humor of the skis,I bet they lost alot of sales on these. Chronics graphics have sucked the last few years- not taking that one back.

Its sad, but graphics mean a lot to some skiers when they chose their skis. But, we all like what we like, and its allllllllllllllllll good....
 
Oh yeah now they are(aside from the base graphics, I think it's lazy to do black a name (I'm looking at you Armada)) but like before they weren't really trying that hard, and after that graphic they did the boring style for all their skis.
 
word, I think this needs to be quoted because it brings up some really good points that no one's discussing. I like a lot of the graphics this year.

the line graphics with the wolf make me laugh every time I see them because they remind me of this kid in my school with those types of shirts. he thinks it's the coolest shirt ever, it's really funny. on halloween he wore one with a big ghost face thing on it and someone was like that's cool, and he's like it's not supposed to be cool, it's supposed to scare the living shit out of you!!!! anyway, good for him.
