07/08 Line Skis

good thing line didn't copy armada's design with the mountain background on the Prophets like on last years ARV's gooood thing
 
Well, uhh... they're skis. and you ski on a mountain. so it's understandable. I mean, there are also other skis with mountains in the background.
 
i rly dont understand why ppl are hating on the anthems. center mounted with the 412 blue deadblots i think it would be a balla ass setup.
 
you're dumb.

just because a ski has a mountain on it doesn't mean they are copying your beloved arv's. i fail to see any similarities besides the fact that both skis have A mountain on them. the design greatly differs. and rich, same goes for you. line did a better "mountain" ski then both 4frnt and armada. they actually made it look good.

wow im in love with the ep pro, the bacons and the elizabeths, but does anyone know if pollard designed the graphics for those too? i mean i would assume he did his own pro model, and since he has done the bacon and the elizabeths before that he would do it again. and if he did design those, damn mad props to him because those are the sickest graphics ive seen....well done
 
I like the grafix Pollard put on the SFB and Elizabeth for the 07 skis. But they are still nice.....cant believe he got another model to design...what is that 6 or 7 now?
 
I'm in love with the new shit, although I'm not sure if I like this year SFB graphic better or not, I'll have to see more before I can decide. I love Line though...they are the best ski company ever.
 
The Anthem looks way better in person. It has an airbrush look to it and is done by a guy in VT that is one of the best airbrush artists in the world. He has guys from all over the US that come to him to paint theur big rigs. I even think that the wolf gave them permission to use his picture on the ski.
 
i like the invaders.. and the shadows. the steezy colour on the invaders' rockin.' i wanted & want to buy a new pair of skis for the park this year, but iunno if it's worth it. january's pretty much over, & here we only really have ski season till late marchish. but i DESPERATELY need a new pair of skis. i broke the tail of my line invaders (05/06) last year.. & currently am using a cheap ass pair of heads that were bought and never really wanted..

what do i doo?!??!??!??!!!!!! o_O
 
invaderskier if u havnet noticed the specs on the blend are different then the chronic wides and therfore a diff ski. The feedback ive gotten from my friends that have rode the blends say they are a lot different then the wide all together so therefore i was wondering if they were discontinueing the ski and THEREFORE replacing it with the blends. dam gettin uptight there. think before you act boy.
 
pollard also painted this years prophet series..i personally like my 90s abit better than the 6 peice picture design of next years. and the fonts for next years aren't as exciting as the years before.ecspeially for the 07/08 prophet series

im just saying..but i love the skis..i want the bacons

but i have to say the cursive writing does look good on the mountain setting, it is more of an elegant setting for the mountain view...i like it

Its the prophet series but its a different size and different colors i think

if you look at the "post your 07/08 ski pics" ( the really big thread and go to page 19..there are closer pics

these prophets look like they were painted like this years in the orient style painting

Those girl skis, especially the celebrity, are the best they've ever done. Also, you gotta see the Blend close up to see the gold pattern in it, it's gorgeous. But I still think the ultimate Line Ski was this year's Blend.
 
and if YOU haven't noticed, the Blend, with all it's different specs, REPLACED the Chronic Wide THIS YEAR. As in, the Wide was discontinued LAST YEAR. Go to the Line site right now and you will see that there is NO CHRONIC WIDE for 06/07, only Chronic Blend. Think before YOU act... boy.
 
I liked the look of the Prophets in the catalogue but clearly it doesn't do them justice. They looking amazing in that photo above...hot hot hot
 
i just skied the 100s, blends, elizabeths today at stratton and i must say they were all pretty fucking sweet i coudlnt believe how well the elizabeths carved for 110 underfoot ski and so easy to butter on em. 100s are just straight up gnar.
