They are mounted centre. Its the camera angle. The nose looks longer because the picture is taken facing a downwards angle.

^ Just to end all argument, here are some Volkl Walls that EVERYONE though were mounted back. Ive even flipped the ski around. Hmm, still looks like its mounted back, eh?

Listen, ITS THE CAMERA ANGLE! Here is a side profile of the same skis. This angle is dead on, and you can see with the flipped ski, they ARE CENTRE!

Im sure if he gave us a side profile, you morons would see they are mounted centre. Not a hard concept to grasp, you just have to think a bit about geometry. Tricky stuff, no?
