07/08 Dumonts vs AR6 vs STL

Just mulling over ideas for my winter park ski. Anyone ridden all three of this years models? I demo'd the 181 dumont and liked it, although it was mega heavy with the demo bindings. How do the others compare? Anything else I should consider?

I'm 6 foot and 165 pounds, this will be primarily a park ski but i want some all mountain useability.

Thanks.

i got dumonts but next years ar6 look really nice. as for the stl i dont know much about it. i was torn between the ar6 and the dumont this year but ended up with the dumont because i preferred the sidecut.

it was a salomon demo binding. it just felt heavy compared to my foils with z12 bindings (which yes are shit and broke and i now have px12 ti).

I can get the dumonts for a decent price (probably around $350-400) so i was swaying towards them but just wanted to see if it was worth considering the alternatives.

also does anyone have the sidecut dimensions for the 181 dumonts? i'm assuming pretty much the same as the 176?

If you can get dumonts for that price definately go for it. They're salomon's only real quality park ski.

no man, that cant be it. i know for a fact that dumonts are significantly lighter than foils.

ALSO if anyone knows what the differances are between this year's and next years dumonts that would be nice. i just got a replacement pair for my defective ones straight from salomon so i think they might be '08s. they have a more matte topsheet than my old ones and silver serial number fornt instead of white.

I'm only going on what they felt like. I'd be seriously surprised if the dumont was lighter then the foil because they felt significantly heavier.

i'm pretty set on dumonts now, just need to save my cash.

ya but i only had like 1 run on them they seemed stiff but i kinda liked the popyness they had because im used to troublemakers where they are way softer and seem to have not as much poopyness
