06 X Games - Course Discussion

Some big gaps to rails would be awesome. Tons on 450s and maybe even a few 630s to rails. Or perhaps a zero to rail.
 
how the fuck do you zero to rail? you do realise the 'zero' in a zero spin comes from the fact you spin zero degrees? thus making it impossible to zero spin onto a rail nuless you somehow took off at a 90 degree angle or zero spun to a one footer
 
theres not alot you can do with jumps besides make them bigger, the money booter last year was smaller then the stuff at junior X. Atleast 70 ft. Also at least 3-4 rails and like 5 jumps so the judges could judge on consistancy and an up flat down stairset an S box, a big gnarly down flat down box, and a C wallride. also a hip transfer.
 
i'm sorry, of course you have to turn 90 degrees. I shouldn't have assumed the population of idiots of NS would know i meant a big switch stright air to late 90 on the rail.

I didn't know a better way to desribe it.
 
i think each jump should get a little bigger...like the one comp how they had like 4 jumps in a row..i forget what it was called but it was on oln...but it should be like 60 then 65 or 70 then 70 or 75 and just keep getting bigger
 
I'm sorry bro, i stand corrected, i'm planning on spending the next couple months becoming more core. I just bought my new stl's and siver ten4.
 
they don't need t lines like they did last year. Hardly anybody chose the rail line. So they should just make one line with tons of rails and a couple jumps.
 
how bout a nice big booter with a long flat rail on the landing so candide can lay down his cork 810 to rail
 
See i think rails/boxs that are overly technical would not work. Guys need to keep their speeds up, especially for the big hits towards the bottom, so a massive s-box-to-c-box-to-down-box really wouldn't work out. Maybe if the course was longer and a little steeper perhaps.

i think that would be perfect.
 
Thats fucking classic,

No matter how much we want the course to change, it wont. There will be a stair thing at the top followed by a couple rail options the just booters.
 
Different stuff. maybe like a up-flat(about6 feet high) the into nice hip jump and yeah, different stuff that isnt in every other park.
 
i really like the idea of putting a huge 1/4 pipe at the very bottom, after the money booter. this would encourage riders to throw bigger tricks, with more tweak and style off the money booter, instead of super fast spins so they could land with more speed for the post-money booter 1/4 pipe. If that feature existed I think we would see a lot of super clean 5's 7's and 9's of all varieties off the Money booter, then the let riders can go for the 10 and the 12 off the 1/4 pipe at the end.
 
id like to see a huge rainbow with no snow beneith it, like its the in run, then rail, then you grease the rail and when youre at the top you can look down like 15 feet to the ground
 
i would love to see some more rail options and more guys hitting the rails instead of the jumps. i was very dissapointed last year with having only two rails in the beginng and then a line of jumps with only flat rails as an option. they need a wider variety of features and more creative rail options. i loved the stairilzer from x games 2 years ago, they need more shit like that.
 
i think at the end of the slopestyle run they should have a "bitch slap sal masakala as hard as you can" contest and whoever makes him scream in the highest bitch-voice gets 5 extra points added onto their score.

They should have a 30 foot box going uphill before on of the bigger jumps. I dont mean like the one at the Orage Masters, just a box at an uphill angle that they have to haul up to and then throw a big spin off of.
