is true center where armada put the recommened mounting point, cuz i dropped them off at the ski shop asked them to be mounted at true center and i got them back and i dont think they are, they are a few inches off and it isnt equal distance between tip and tall. Correct me if im wrong but i just dont wanna go in yelling at them if im wrong. So help me out here. O ya the center of the boot is farther back so center to tip isnt equal to center to tail

If you said " True Center" to them, they should have mounted them at the actual true center regardless of what Armada's mounting point is. If you had wanted that you would have said, "Mount them on the Armada mounting point". If they did mess up, go yell at them.

some dumbass techs due that were they dont measure exactly from tip to tip

they measure how they do with enemies or 4frnt's

they probably mounted right in between the regular mount and true center tip to tip

i think you have to specifically ask them to mount it how you wanted it

ya they fucked up i called armada im ganna go yell at them and hopefully get some free gloves or something

First off they probably did you a favour because you definitely don't want tehm at true center if you want them to perform their best, otherwise Armada would recommend mounting them their and they don't. Depending on the size you bought Armada has issued specific measurements for dealers to mount based on that are direct feedback from their team riders. So you could either ride them where Tanner does a bit back from true or you can be a tool and lose a bunch of speed for big tables and remount them further foward.

Here are the factory measurements I got from Tyson Hall for the t-halls, they are the midsole in distance from the tail:

160= 74.5 cm from tail

170= 79.5cm from tail

176= 83cm from tail

180= 84.5cm from tail

I skied my 176 Tanners last year at this recomendation and they were perfect.

^ Would those recomended points be the same for this years Ar5? Or if not could you get them and PM me

^^^those are the same recomended measurements as for the ar5. im mounting my ar5s 88cm from the tail, wich is 2cm back from true center. also, is the mountingpoint on the boot at its center or further back? in that case the bindings would be more forwardmounted regardless of the point you chose in the first place??

it doesnt matter what binding as it the midsole or the boot which lines up with these measurements.

and dont dead centre mount t-halls as it fucks it up. the flex points are best at rec mount and also the rounded edges will be in the wrong place for anywhere but cec. mount(which i think is core centre)

i guess ur right. they arnt really rounded but still they are slightly and its better at rec. mount. But this is a minor reason, there are more that give u much better reasons to not mount forward.

First off the mounting recomendations are the same as above for the AR5's.

The reason you can measure from the tail is that you're drawing a line on the ski at thatpoint and that is where the boots midsole line has to line up in the jig when you drill. The binding makes no difference because there's a jig for each company.
